I thought the same thing. Thane's voice in game was horrible. I'm glad they fixed it on here. They did a amazing job with everything!!

@@neen66F Seriously. Everyone else was phenomenal, with Nevanthi and Baden being perfect, but then Thane spoke and it really took me out of the moment with how bad he was, lol. Someone must've thought so as well, and that's why they changed his voice.

I just watched it in the game too and Thane's voice acting took me completely out of the video, some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard in my life. And it didn't fit the character AT ALL. I smell nepotism.

@@nijuujuuyon94uhhh I wholeheartedly agree, that voice acting is absolutely terrible. No idea why they keep that version in the game, but nepotism is a solid option. I'm glad to see proper voice acting at least on yt, because the video itself is pretty cool. I hope more people find this version and can actually enjoy it (or finish watching it in general).

Same. It was nowhere near as elaborate as the lore Talene, Thane, Baden, and Brutus got.

I'm sure Baden and Thane would forgive Brutus is they have to work together because this is a problem for all of them

Some people can put personal issues aside if the fate of the world depends on it. Besides, if we're talking lore, then Baden's death was moreso the fault of his superiors as well as the Graveborn. Thane figured out the whole conspiracy behind it years ago so while yes, Brutus dealt the killing blow, the situation was set up from the outside.

@@alexandramusilova8148 true, but unless Brutus will show remorse for that (which I doubt he will) I feel that it would cause a lot of tension within the group. He's the odd one out - Baden and Thane are bffs and have every reason to hate Maulers, Solise as a Wilder is certainly not a fan Maulers either, Talene is an Obsidian Finch and a Celestial, and while beyond faction conflicts, she's not happy with the senseless violence. I may be biased but I always viewed the brutal part of Mauler society as more evil than the Graveborn tbh, and Brutus is certainly violent (and dim-witted in addition to that, based on how he was played and manipulated several times).

@@firestar29 That’s an interesting take but at the same time, the war between Lightbearers and Maulers is entirely the former's fault. And it is war so Brutus should not be required to show remorse unless you also want Baden and Thane to be remourseful about all the Maulers they've killed. Solise is terrified of all the guys in the group according to the official comics, and as for Talene, not only did she spend most of her life chasing revenge but she would also know that the Maulers' proud and violent nature is considered a gift from Dura, so I doubt she would mind either. Ultimately, Brutus showed he can protect his allies regardless of past grievances, so I'm willing to give him a pass. I would love to see all of them talk about the past for sure but at the same time, I don't think it's that far-fetched to see them working together. Another point is that the Raynes were victims of a Lightbearer nobility conspiracy because they stood against the Graveborn influence. Baden would've died one way or another just like the rest of Estrilda's family. Brutus may have been the one to deal the killing blow but it just as well could've been an assassin or any other Mauler. According to the artbook lore, Thane is aware of the conspiracy.
