I was pregnant at 17 and kept my son who is now 39. He saved many lives over his career and is a beautiful, loving son, husband and father to my only grandchild. I refused to abort him. Life was a ton of hard work, ups and downs, but we did it and we grew up together. To this day, my son still tells me that he loves me every time we talk. Powerful movie!

@@mumbaichaking3192 I married his father when I turned 19 and we’ve been happily married ever since. We’ve had our struggles, of course, like everyone else, but we always stuck together. My husband and I both served in the military, 25 years for (hubby) and I served only 20 years, because I was severely injured while on military duty, permanently disabled for life and medically discharged. I have a busted spine and many other serious injuries. My husband was a flyer so I basically raised our son by myself, because my husband was always flying. He is an excellent and loving father and spent time with us when he was home. We are both retired military Veterans now. My faith in God has given me strength in my life and without Him I would never have made it through.

I read the comment box before the movie, but I never expected such an end for this. I'm still in shock, great movie by the way, loved it. My mom planned to abort me due to poverty, but glory to God, I'm still here. And you're not gonna believe this, my beloved Mom passed away due to cancer in 2017[I was 11], the exact year this movie was released, it was heart-wrenching but I decided to become an oncologist, so nobody shall die of this disease. I'm not yet in med school, but I'll be soon there, so I want you all to remember me in your prayers...

wow. I wasn't expecting that end... Almost 19 years ago, I got a phone call out of nowhere from someone I didn't know. The woman on the other side of the line said someone had told her to call me. She was in despair saying she had an abortion appointment scheduled for the next day at 2:00pm. I was really caught off guard, I didn't even have kids then but I told her to reconsider her decision, that God had a plan and He would help her. As I'm encouraging her we got disconnected. I tried calling back but a receptionist at a hotel answered. I didn't know the lady's name or room number. I hang up the phone and my husband and I prayed she would choose life. I have prayed for that child and woman for almost 19 years and wondered what came about. I truly hope she chose life.

I had all things figured at! This ending just left me open-mouthed... In one month I'll be 80 years old... And I cannot forgive myself to this day... I know that Jesus Christ has forgiven me but I cannot. It's a very heavy load to carry for 55 years... I seemed to have all the excuses at the time. Few people would blame me for doing what I did in the circumstances I was. But it hurts. What gives me consolation is that one day, soon probably, she/he will meet me at the heavenly gates with opened arms and my heart will finally rest...

Celina, for years I could not forgive myself for something I had done. Then Jesus showed me that when He said we must forgive everyone, that also included myself! I saw that I was not obeying - and even insulting Him - by not forgiving myself! It was hard, and I cried much, but I did forgive myself. It was like a terrible heaviness had been lifted from me, and I felt free. Please consider my words and the words of Jesus!

Celina friend, I hope this encourages you dear sister Isaiah 38:17 King James Version 17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. Isaiah 43:25 King James Version 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Isaiah 55:7 King James Version 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Micah 7:19 King James Version 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Hebrews 8:12 King James Version 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10:17 King James Version 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Jeremiah 31:34 King James Version 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Isaiah 55:9-11 King James Version 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Your loved, Jesus loves you, You will see your child someday and so will I. God bless you💚💜💙

What a powerful film! In 1962, this was my story. The sperm donor left saying "how are you going to make it?" My last words to him were "you're going to choke on my smoke!" I'm now 82, my fabulous son is 61. I've survived cancer twice, in 2000 and again 2010. I had many 'careers' and I retired from ministry in 2013. Life has been very good to us, always providing for our needs and blessing us with great friends and family. . . forgiveness and gratitude are the key to living such a life. Seeing the other comments here brings joy to my heart to see how others made beauty from the hands they were dealt. Blesings all!

Then her parents talked her into an abortion and nobody told him until it was done. He was devastated and the loss caused long lasting scars. The ending of this movie shocked me. I cried and how can you not. So many babies are murdered each year through abortion. I was a teenager excepting a baby. The dad told me to abort the baby his mother would pay for it. I chose to keep him ( yes the baby was a boy ). Today is his birthday .....12/12/69 He's 52 yrs old. As I look back on his life my life. God had a plan....I'm so thankful I listen to my heart. His dad went to college, married had 2 more children. When our son had his first child . I called and told him he was a grandpa. He said ok. But to this day he doesn't want to meet his son or his family.

Thank you for a very thought provoking movie. I definitely wasn't expecting the ending. I am pro life and against abortion.. To every unborn life that's taken, there would have been God's plan for this child, in this case, this child would have discovered a cure for cancer as an adult.. Before we were even conceived God had a plan for us.. LET OUR BABIES LIVE! A good film for those who are considering this act..

It works the other way, too - an unborn fetus can also turn out to be the next Hitler. Or a rapist. Or a serial killer. Or a pedohpile. You don't know God's plan. Only God does. Perhaps God's plan is for women who are going to birth the next Hitler to get an abortion, so the world doesn't suffer another Hitler. My body, my choice. Abortion is a woman's right.

This is an amazing story, such an inspiration, alot of babies who would have made the world a better place were aborted. Life begins immediately after conception but when it's terminated, we loose a doctor, a teacher, etc I grew up without a father but I knew that he existed somewhere and he knew that I existed too and never took any responsibility even when he was capable, on the other hand he made sure that every person that wanted to support me stopped. I hated him so much and still struggling to love him and that has changed my views about men and life. I just pray that God will heal my wounds and one day I will completely forgive and love him.

This is so heartbreaking. I have experienced this pain. It's something you never get back. To lose a baby is heartbreaking but to lose a child out of our own selfishness is an unbearable regret. Maybe not all feel this way but I know many do. 8 know God forgives and even comforts us and strengthens us in amazing ways to share stories and help others so they don't have to go through this.

I truly love the story ❤ but I was so sad at the end because I thought at the beginning that she would keep the baby and then when I saw her working the hospital and they showed little Zach I thought okay she did keep him but then I was so upset when she went to buy his Christmas gift and never made it home and her father was mean to him. Then when his father came around right away I felt that was his father. One of my favorite parts was when Zack went to ask his girl friend or advice, every word she told him was so beautiful and so true I will have to go back to that spot and write those words to share with the world because they are true ❤ but sill I was sad and heart broken at the end when they told how there never was a Zack 😢

Well I did not see that coming! Not even close! This is an incredibly powerful movie. To truly ponder and consider what all the aborted children would’ve become and how they might have impacted the world, is overwhelming. It’s so sad to know that so many women feel that they have no other choice. We, followers of Christ, need to love them! Show them the love of Jesus, through us. Help them, support & encourage them and show them that there’s always another way. In these last days, we need to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet! I get so heartbroken when I see people misrepresenting God, and treating people as if they’re lesser than. Jesus Christ died for ALL of us! So many souls would be saved if people would share the gospel in love, and behave as Christlike as possible. For it’s not the whole that need a physician, but the sick! We need to love on each other and all the lost! May God keep and bless you and your families, in Jesus’ name. P.S. I’m speaking to myself as well! Love y’all

I was devastated to discover recently that someone i love chose to kill her unborn baby in this way. It doesn't matter whether that baby would have grown up to invent a cure for cancer; it doesn't matter what it would have grown up to be - good, bad, brilliant, disabled, successful or a bum. He or she was a human being, created in the image of God, and had as much right to life as its mother has, and as much right to make its own choices and its own mistakes. NO-ONE has the right to take another human life.

I’m so sorry to hear this Miss Bethany. 😢 🙏🏿 I agree! Please, don’t let this discourage you from loving the one who did this. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, the body of Christ. You keep on loving on her, truly showing the compassion, kindness and love of Jesus to her. Even if she pretends she’s okay, we don’t know how much she’s regretting her choice, how depressed she may be over it. It’s not too late for her to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and truly follow Him, & become born again. God may have placed you near her for this very reason. Idk, but I do know that when we behave as Christlike as possible, it draws people to Him. I’m praying for you dear Miss Bethany. May God keep and bless you and your family. May the Holy Spirit overwhelm the one you love and lead her to repentance, in Jesus’ name. 🙏🏿 ❤🤗

I was having a lot of scenarios in mind as the movie kept moving. One of the scenarios were right, yet I didn't fully pay attention to that scenario. A very packed plot twist. It was like a gum that kept changing flavors the more you kept chewing it. I bless The Lord for the idea that inspired the production of this movie. HalleluYAH! Also, I think people who advocate for "pro-choice" should stop pushing for abortion if they really support the woman's choice since it's so hypocritical to pressure a woman into abortion when choices presented to her are biased toward abortion. In the case of this movie, Madeline didn't want to abort, but she got pressured. Her "choice" wasn't respected. There seems to be no choice in "pro-choice" except abortion.
