What does the type/genre of the melody (at the beginning) called? There has to be a name of it, and it has to be not simply "classical" or "vgm", I found them alot on Kick Master, Castlevania and Dragon Quest alike
Thanks for the comment. Do you mean the sound palette? If so I think chiptune would be another commonly used word like VGM-- anything that uses simple waveforms such as square/pulse waves, triangle waves, etc.
@@RDMUSICTOKYO I mean the songwriting. It sound kind of like Fillmore from Actraiser, since this similarity occur way less let's say it's a "huge" similarity since I'm deprived of samples. I love how causal and deterministic the melody earlier sounds, as if music itself is a math problem with only one correct answer
@@intj_gaming Could be the chord progressions? If we’re talking music theory I notice a lot of minor signature + flat VI usage in game music from Japan.
