Beautiful. I was there in 2022. Such a Nice expercience. I felt really comfortabel there. I felt sorry for poor who want to build a future but thats not easy to do. Not many people that bought products from locals. I tried to support them I hope Malawi can develop a bit in this case

Interesting video. The poverty is sad but it's good that they're trying to work and earn an honest living. They seem to have a very simple yet beautiful way of life. Those kids were so funny. Also, love the Afro!
I stayed at Thumbi view lodge, its pretty good for the price, its one of the few places that offers wifi, if you drink, there is a wider variety of drinks at the Bar, its right on the beach so you will have a beach view depending on the type of room you book. Its also close to a kayak center, so you can easily go kayaking and if you want the village tours, you can easily do so from here aswel. So I would recommend it. If you are more adventurous and want to be sorrounded by nature, then I recommend that you book Mumbo Island, ive also introduced it in my private island video, check it out if you're imterested. Other places are Mgoza and Warm heart adventure lodge ive heard some good reviews.
Hy beautiful would you recommend a solo trip for a female? Also I hear Malaria is common in Malawi and many airbourne diseases. Did you take any vaccines? Or you were just cautious?
Hey ☺️, yes it’s safe to travel. That is true Malaria is common, I didn’t take any vaccines, I’m from Malawi and have gone back a few times with no issues. but for first time travellers I would recommend that you get vaccinated just to be safe. Other airborne diseases do occur but apart from C-19 I haven’t heard of anything serious or know anyone who has been affected 😊
