I’m not Nigerian and always get amused when Nigerians abroad discuss taxation. Every country in the west has progressive taxation where high income earners pay more. Taxation is not complicated but unfortunately can make for voluminous reading. Great to hear your reflections

One of the major issue in the cost of living difference is the value of the currency… Inflation is occurring almost everywhere but the value of the currency is what makes it so difficult.

Few weeks ago I went to buy yam with N5000 but I ended up buying plantain because the yam seller said the cheapest they had was N7000 tuber,I was literally sorrowful. I had my money but couldn't afford what I came to buy and I consider myself a middle class citizen oh😂. Nigeria just dey shock all of us with price of food stuff 😂😂😂

Bag of rice is 80k Congo of white beans 3,100 Congo of red beans 3,800 Congo of white garri 1,300 6 tubers of yam is 16,000 One spaghetti least is 700. Everything is cost. Its sad honestly. Over here it's difficult to see the money to purchase sef. Thank you for making this video.

I remember when i used to buy pack of spaghetti anyhow 2years ago thereabout. Used to be #7k or so. So, i just buy anyhow. Sometimes, I buy 2, 3 packs to just store away🤣🤣 Now, it's like 20k issh to buy a pack now. Like, that sad reality of when you just use to buy stuffs anyhow and don't get bothered about the price. But the opposite is the case now😂😂 Bothering want to finish Nigerians😂

I bought 5 tubers of yam last week for 16k, I was only able to eat just 3, two of the yams were totally bad. I went to gosa market in Abuja on Friday to see if I can get cheap tomato and pepper, because girl no tomatoes. The half basket that’s usually sold for 10k is now sold for 96k with plenty Abeg 😂, I just do Uturn, pepper, tatashe, nd the likes are even worse. The Economy is not smiling o

And funny story 😂 Bought 3 average tubers of yam at the market 2 weeks ago or sth for 4500. Even tweeted about it😂 I wasn't familiar with the latest price of yams and stuff. So, my bad. I sha bought yam oo, 1 and half of it was chocolate already (Spoilt) when i got home to cook it 😂 later read from people's comment that just 1 alone is like 5k now. So, my bad purchase was justified But regardless, how will i buy sth for 4500 and half of it is spoilt 😂 Just crazy out here oo lol No where is funny. The whole world seff, nth is easy any longer. See immigration too, everything is just upside down 😂 It is well
