+fosterliberty are you serious bellas artes,Reforma mexico,Chapultepec Castle, La Alameda park(central park of d.f) . You probably live in some hick town in tennessee....
+noize2040 I actually live on the North Shore of Chicago, but nice try. Mexico City is not a beautiful city. That does not mean it is not interesting, but a beautiful city it is not.
Your video made me feel an urge to explore my city as if I were a tourist. Hope you are having a great time in Mexico. oh and always remember that "Mi casa es tu casa" bienvenido amigo.

+Francisco H. Muñoz Ceballos Thank you so much for your warm welcome! I really do enjoy this fantastic country with its warm welcome and awesome hospitality. The idiomatic expression that you just mentioned really applies to my situation :)

some of the nicest and cultured people I've met in my life were from that great city, the first capital in the American continent, Mexico city, kind, welcoming to different cultures, open in every way and extremely educated and well informed they could be an example for many other people out there
i'm from indonesia, and i feel nice to know that there's indonesian people who live in ciudad de mexico. i also like to hear that our language spoken on this video.i will visit mexico soon
There are a lot of diferent cultures here in Mexico city I hope you can come soon! ♡ I really love the fact that so many people of different countries come to Mexico and enjoy it! ♡
Mexico is not what the media tries to drill in your head, it is no different than the Unites States, there are beautiful places ,such as the what the video demonstrated, and then there are the slums just like any other country. The reason why the media focuses on the dangerous parts of Mexico is because the government does not want you to spend your money over there and do not want retired seniors to retire over there( there are millions of Americans who move to Mexico so they can gain citizenship and retire there)
Charles Randolph : "Maybe Donald Trump is wrong ! Delete the Maybe . He is wrong ! Sometimes people feared what is a menace to them , because they know something is powerful !
+Ericka Aghort-Lazc Umm, I hate to break it to you but 50% of Mexico is run by Cartels. So yeah, why don't you try causing a rucus in Tijuana and we'll see how long you live. Not too bright are you.
+shivakrishnarama No, U don't brake nothing at all ! I get your point . U admire a dude that thinks Paris is in Germany and owns a very misogynous concepts. Maybe u agree with that ! And my thoughts are born from experiences , Not from watching news , Absorbing them with no filter .Although i Know perfectly well where i live ! Its pros and contrs. It is indeed. Another way of life what i have been living ! Because i live in a comfortable , Peaceful neighborhood in Mexico City . And U should know that if in the world people disagree with u , It is not because their lack of intelligence but because the human being may have freedom of speech and diversity of opinion !
it is, but it's way smaller (and it's supposed to be as big as NYC's but the local government has preferred to put the money on car infrastructure instead since the 90s)
It is much superior indeed. As a New Yorker who has used the subway in Mexico City, I can assure you with all certainty that the Mexican subways are very clean, tidy, and organized.
Great video! It's nice to see my ancestral city from a non-Mexican perspective! Also nice to see all the people from all over the world there. I hope Mexico continues to treat you well!
Cqrrot I'm glad you want to visit it again It's like Playa del Carmen Ones you're there you don't wanna leave So many many foreniers end up coming back to stay
Life's good anywhere when you're a young college student with money.

I kinda agreed to what you mentioned, but based on my personal experience living in other countries before, I could tell you that living in Mexico City is by far one of the best experience of my life.I literally didn't face any kind of islamophobia here. They just accept you as you are.
I was born and raised in California, have been living in Mexico for the past five years, I feel so much safer in Mexico than in the states, I´m sure it depends on the city, but for the most part I like it better in Mexico.
i dont know why people ask about musmuls in the mexico city, we mexicans not have problem whit any religion, thats is why many people of other countrys and ideologist find in mexico a santuary.
well thats good. I want to visit there asap :D i dont know why mexico was described as a bad county by media. I mean like drugs or criminals, I'm sure every country has criminals too. but no offense amigo
Nikolás, thank you! I am a mexican currently living outside my country and your video made me feel right at home. I also thought your post-production was really good!
Thank you for sharing!! . As a person who lives in Mexico city your video really showed a regular day in this big monster! . Don't stop exploring ! Chingón! :)
Iris Hernández Hola! Mi nuevo video listo! Te invito a mi canal! NO OLVIDES SUSCRIBIRTE:) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z3Ma_nvk0P0l.html
It's so nice to see such a wonderfully shot video, intimate with life in Mexico, for once not just from the perspective of a North American. It's a nice, familiar, nostalgic touch to see you celebrating with muslims in Mexico. Though not muslim myself, everything about those moments you shot are very familiar to me as someone of Indian-origin.

This was so beautiful and well made, not like most " travel videos" that can feel quite superficial. I like that you showed the variety of culture and people within Mexico that people might not have known about. I'm curious, as someone who is also Asian (and Mexican but it doesn't show as much), what were the challenges you faced? You've emboldened me to definitely travel to Mexico city. I thought it would be too new-yorky, if that makes sense.
UU.
Congrats! Such a cool video! I'm from Mexico City but now I'm far from there and miss it. I love how you show the daily life at Mexico City with simple and few words, just images with a "foreing perspective"; somehow I felt myself idenified with this feeling of not being from there but living in a city, maybe even feeling there like your home. I don't know how more time are you going to be there, but I wish you a great time! Keep on learning spanish ;) Disfrútalo y mucha suerte!

Hey Eric, thank you so much for your kind words and support. Greatly appreciated :)
I love these videos. Love seeing the diversity and religious freedom. In Mexico we have a saying ," Cada quien su pedo y felizes". Translation: To each their own and everyone happy".
Nice video showing diverse elements of life in Mexico city. You need to see other places like Guadalajara,Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Oaxaca, Tulum and soo many other fascinating places to enjoy. Welcome to our country. As we say here Mi Casa es Su Casa, My home is your home.
Mostly all my neighbors are either from USA 🇺🇸 or European, and no there not old people, there's thousands of people from there 20's to 40's living here...stop believing in bad news Mexico City is just like New York,or any other cosmopolitan city that's why I move here from San Francisco
So Mexico actually seems pretty decent. I remember reading a article years ago about how in the countryside that there are places where people haven't seen a doctor for nearly their whole lives and stuff like that. But in reality you have places like that in Canada too.
Hi Nik. proud to found this video. Im Malaysian in Sydney. now im addicted to spanish and latin America.. hahaha one day i wanna move there hopefully.. keep your good work

Hola Nazrin. Thank you so much for your support. Are you taking Spanish class there? All the best for your vlogs as well :)
I’m a college student in the state of Arizona (United States) and really want to move to Mexico for a couple of years to become fluent in Spanish. This video made it clear that it may be the right move.
+Nikolás Hasif sooooo cool! That's what my mom would't buy for me if I went with her hahahaah xD but now I'm buying my stuff! :D and the karaoke song is a classic!

+sugey ontiveros Muchas gracias!
Hi there, I too film natural sight and sound gopro walks in soulful cities, and I'm a real lover of watching them myself, so it's great to see your interesting and absorbing video, as I've never been and would like to one day (I've just filmed a walk of Cozumel if you'd like to see that in return?) I really enjoyed walking with you a while. Thanks for sharing. I've subscribed.
Salam dari Germany, I am from Indonesia originally but am going to Mexico City for my exchange program there :) nice videos and information regarding Mexico City :)
