We show you what Norway is like, the places you must not miss, its geography, traditions and customs, and more. But we also discuss some controversial aspects.
As a Norwegian, I didn’t imagine I’d sit through the whole 44 minutes since it’s a video about my own country, but I sure did. This is a really well made video! Nice work!
"stavkirker" have been forgotten!!! amazing 1000 years old viking wood churches still standing. With lots of wood carving! these buildings seem like some heroic fantasy architecture.
Visited a few ports while working on a greek cruise ship and so much wish i could visit Norway and spend a longer time there as i do consider Norway to one one of the most beautiful country on the planet.
I worked and lived in Norway for 3 years .but have been there many times before.love Norway every time I go back I feel like I’ve come home.i was in hauggesund .In karmoy. What a beautiful country Norway is.and the people are so friendly.and most speak English .a very clean and safe country.
Hi Marianne! I'm a Hungarian guy who wants to move to Norway because life in Hungary is too suffocating, but I can't choose between the cities. Is Trondheim a good place to live? I hear Oslo is quite expensive and Bergen is very rainy. What do you think of Trondheim as a local resident? Thanks for your answer in advance: Tommy
Norway's beauty is undeniable! 🇳🇴✨ What's your favorite aspect of life in Norway, or do you have a personal Norway story to share? Let's celebrate the charm of this stunning country together!
I have traveled Norway. So impressed to take a train ride for Oslo to Stavanger - 9 hours of panoramic views. The trip was only one-way so I made sure to stay awake. Now? I live in Baja Sur, MX. I don’t use my Norway sweater much here. LOL - Love the Norway people.
If possible a list of all the locations on screen would be most helpful for map reading - GREAT VIDEO, I visited in June 2023, I didn't want to go home. Thanks - Jim
I don't know why I'm watching all these videos about Norway, I have lived here all my life and been all around the country. But I find it strangly satisfying. :)
This is a fantastic travel resource and overall reference! I just wish you either flashed the name of each location on the screen or pinned it to the comments.
While Norway's landscapes are undeniably breathtaking, let's not forget beauty is subjective. Every country holds its own unique charm and appeal. Let's celebrate diversity rather than fueling a competition for the 'most beautiful' title. 🌍❤
@@swedishpsychopath8795 Yes, it is a Swedish invention. It was a Swedish psychopath who found out that he should put the fish in a box together with salt and sugar and wait until the box was close to exploding. Then to taste the rotten shit.
Both are beautiful from what I hear. I visited Norway and carefully planned my route by car from south to north, crossing the fjords. I have not been to lofoten but hear it’s amazing. I will say that there’s no boring routes in Norway. It’s a huge country and the most visceral aspects is the power of falling water, everywhere. Clean, baby blue, glacier water. I think that New Zealand also has glaciers, so I wonder how the geography compares. I’ll make it there one day.
Everything in Norway is expensive living . holiday . Eat out cinema . Transpirasjon.. Hotels . Gas ⛽️ . . We also have a lot of toll rings . For someone ho want to come visit my country i recommend going on hikes around Norway 🇳🇴 with tents 🏕️ and see nature summertime is best because it’s very cold in the mountains 🏔️ in winter . The bus is cheap and trains are ok but don’t use the car or taxi 🚕 because they are overpriced . Like most things in Norway . .
Winter north of the Arctic Circle can be long, in Tromsø we have 49 days where we do not see the sun. In Longerbyen, Svalbard, it is dark for 113 days. But we warn ourselves on the northern lights ;)
As a person who lives in Norway i suggest that you don’t travel near Oslo and you go toward lofoten because Oslo unfortunately has become crowded with drunk people gangsters and drug abusers. I find this really unfortunate because it used to be a verry beautiful city. It is still beautiful but not as much as it used to. If you like skiing i suggest Hafjell ski resort. There is no hotel there but you can rent beautiful ski in ski out cabins and the newest apartments are quite spacious and don’t cost as much to rent. Another ski resort is trysil ski resort which is amazing but i personally think Hafjell is a bit better, at trysill there is a hotel you can book rooms to and it also has amazing slopes. If you are looking for hikes go to Dovrefjell or fishing hikes or beautiful sceenery go to either Dovrefjell or lofoten
Norway is very beautiful country, i totally agree. But when u think about hole package of everything, nah, i would prefer as norwegian to live in another country....
This is why Dune 2021, Transformers LK, Captain America, Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Thor, Tenant, Black Widow, Impossible Mission 6,7,8, multiple James Bond and Harry Potter Movies, EX Machina and many other Hollywood movies filmed scenes in Norway.
Much less than supporting 5 black people that hate you and are living in your country. I'll take a coffee (cheaper than Starbucks) all day long thank you very much. Say hi to Akmed for me!
Indeed I love Norwegian fish soup Of course I have been there some of the Norwegian girls speaks fluent Tamil language I ask them how did you learn the language ? We were surrounded by Srilankan Tamil communities
@@tiggergutt70 it sure is, thanks to the lefty government. Following London, LA, Chicago, Paris all the wonderfully progressive cities with mass imigration. Yum!
What you say about coffee break in Norway is wrong, the word "Fika" is Swedish and not Norwegian. Fika means to eat in Swedish and is often used when you have lunch at 12 Otherwise, this was a good video of Norway

i went here after watching Vinland Saga I'm just curious of the history of Norway cause in the anime Icelanders came from norway before and migrates to iceland since king harald ruled the Norway.
The Norwegian people are a good people, clever people, industrious and very pragmatic. What impresses me they have a state fund of approximately $1.5 trillion invested around the world for the future generations of the Norwegian people.🇳🇴🇬🇧🏴🇦🇽🥴
@@Snurre99 are aren’t you a quaint individual I bet your nickname rhymes with something you keep saying red backwards red backwards, well done Forrest Gump, by the sounds of it you could even be a trump supporter or believe that the Earth is 8000 years old?
common sense is just like our home planet Earth with such a beautiful (ereth) nature within, which we shall admire and protect out of princ.ipality (nasi) instead of harming throughout climate changes
