Amazing scenes of snowfall at Kalpa and great to see you enjoying the natures blessings.. Kalpa in Kinnaur experiences the heavy snowfall because of its very high altitude and its proximity with great Kinner kailash mountains up front.. The life during winters and snowfall is not as beautiful as it looks from outside.. It brings lot of hardship and miseries to all the living beings.. But we are happy with this life and have managed to co exist with situation and even celebrate it.. It is only the snowfall and harsh winters that kinnaur produces quality apples and live a decent life in modern days.. There needs to be lot done for the tourist to come and enjoy the winters and snowfall in Kinnaur on the lines of west.. Lets hope . Thanks for sharing wonderful video which as usual is brillant in terms concept, narration and picturisation..

It's true that life is very tough here in winters, but the people who live here are very strong. We have a lot of potential for tourism, but our roads and transportation system needs a lot of work to make an up-to-the level of the west. Amazing! Cute little kids (the little kid in you included! ) playing outside in the snow without a care in the world. Nowadays, with the advent of electricity, phone and internet, life has become very convenient for city dwellers. As a result, we don't feel the need to go outside and play anymore. This video shows, how fulfilling it can be though. So many of us might not be akin to such hardships. But then again, when you see how much there is to gain in being one with mother nature, one cannot help but wonder - can the convenience and luxuries of the modern world replace mother nature's pure love and thrill? You have really echoed the love bestowed by the mountains in its most serene form :) Thank you for making this video.

Thanks for watching. You can take direct bus from the ISBT Shimla to Reckongpeo or Kalpa or can take any taxi. But bus is economic.
