If it's 1 vs 1, wild dogs are no match for big cats. They often live in herds and do not fight alone, that is how they survive

Dogs in the wild dont bark (see wolves, wild dogs among many other wild species). Domestic dogs have learned that barking helps to manipulate their owners and get them what they need. Though i understand your consternation. I feel like dogs barking at other dogs just seems so natural yet even when wild dog packs meet competing packs, you dont hear any barking
