One recommendation from my side-- Kanishk Gupta's RU-vid videos on Meghalaya. While researching for this video, we had very very less resources available for information. Not much research or documentation has been gone on been done on Cherrapunji, much less on Mawsynram. One creator who has done amazing work in documenting the cultures of both these places is Kanishk. He has made two videos on Meghalaya. One about Mawsynram and another about Cherrapunji. Both are beautiful to look at, full of amazing shots. And also documents culture of the place very beautifully. I would highly recommend you all to watch both the places. Thank you Kanishk for making videos. They are a huge inspiration for us. ❤

Fell in love with this place.. clouds unimaginable greenery, people around and next level peaceful. I have been to many countries and believe me it makes me feel how we are blessed to have such incredible state in our India. I felt that how coexisting with nature is more amazing. I am from delhi so I immediately felt how development and cutting forests are putting us in crisis. Which government and we people cant give our enough attention.
I am indian living in canada. Thanks for showing us this beautiful part of india. I can’t understand why Bollywood always promotes Europe. Why don’t they shot their songs at such beautiful places of India
Well said man. Actually very less promotes north east India. It has thousands of natural beauties some of them undiscovered. Just like the person above stated Rock on 2. Thanks to them for promoting us but who else did after them. For example the movie Koyla shot at Arunachal Pradesh whereby the lake after the release of the movie was named Madhuri lake, but who else after that? Bollywood does not promote our own it promotes foreign countries. Great Respect to the Assamese film and music industry for they are the only industry in India who promotes Meghalaya. Thank you Assam and thank you for promoting this short and meaningful video of yours. Khublei shibun 🙏
I'm from Meghalaya Cherrapunjee locally known as Sohra. Thank You so much for your kind knowledge all the parts of Meghalaya. May your journey be safe and sound ❤

I went to meghalaya once in 2016 with 5 of my office mates. In 18 months after that, I visited the state 4 times! I was living in Kolkata at that time and so, I was blessed ! watching this video, I had tears in my eyes, sitting in my living room in Mumbai. I will always be indebted to you for giving me this piece of bliss! you are one of the few creators who actually does what she believes in, and that purity transcends everything! May God be with you always, and may I get to meet you once!
The one thing I like of her is that she denotes every state, city of India with ' Hamara ' eg hamara Meghalaya, Hamara UP . Thank u so much for exploring our Indian states, cities❤. Love from Haridwar ❤

i'm from nadia, west bengal. our district is huge. the capital , krishnagar, has a heritage. it is famous for clay products and clay dolls. the king of krishnagar was very famous and his connections with last bengal nawab siraj ud doula is famous. he was against him. he had friendship with jagat seth (it's a name of a post in a business family came from marwar region to bengal very very long ago, way before britishers. and his networth was allegedly 1000 billion pounds. he used to lend money to europian kingdoms and governments.) And then we have spiritual places like Mayapur (has biggest ISCON temple, famous all around the globe), Nabadwip which has famous spiritual leaders of bengal like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and a sacred place for hindus.) i don't know everything about my district but you can research on our district and visit more special places. surely, Nadia won't disappoint you.❤
Anugul , just a small city of Odisha but we are the heart of Odisha. In geographic was we are in the middle of the Odisha and in logical ways we offer most of the coal for electricity from our mines . We have a little bit of historic monuments but i wish everyone should ones visit them . The last king of India was here , and we have a women’s college which is older than our city government college. We have our lord Jagannath temple on a mountain which we call as “saila sri khetra” , let me explain we call maa laxmi who is our lord Jagannaths wife and thats why we call puri as sri khetra but in anugul we have our sri khetra on top of a mountain which we call odia saila so it’s happened as saila sri khetra . And a lot like this we have . If you have some time please explore anugul , actually not only anugul you should visit all over Odisha because we have kept our secret silently, we are indias best cap secret.
Vaishali is considered the first republic in the world, Vaishali derives its name from King Vishal of the Mahabharata era. It is said that he built a great fort here, which is now in ruins. Vaishali is a great Buddhist shrine and also the birthplace of Lord Mahavira. It is said that Buddha visited this place thrice and spent a long time here. The Buddha also gave his last sermon at Vaishali and announced his nirvana here. After his death, Vaishali also held the second Buddhist Council. The great Lichchavi clan ruled Vaishali in the sixth century BC and the empire extended to the hills of Nepal. The Lichchhavi state is considered the first republic state of Asia. According to the Jataka tales (Buddhist story books accounting for the different births of the Buddha), Vaishali was ruled by about 7707 kings of the Lichchavi dynasty. The great Magadha king Ajatashatru founded Vaishali in the fifth century BC and after that Vaishali gradually lost its glory and power.
