I think the end of the episode was the one that gave me the most feelz and also when Joyce arrived home that made me cry so hard

Crying my eyes out, over the little things, hints of a future for all of them that never came to be... And then abselutely fell apart at the end.

At the beginning this Episode was totally like this kind of good feelings you have if reminding all the magical and intense moments with the story of Max and Chloe and on the other hand it represents somehow the nostalgia of your own childhood. For me it felt warm and good and funny ... until reality came down to earth and the door opened and joyce came in ... and ... you know ... i saw it in your eyes ... this twist gave me the most intense feeling of this episode ... and it was not a good one. ... Your likeable nature and all this emotional feelings of your deepest inside you always share with us made this playtrough once again very special Briana. i

The ending.... the part where Chloe hugs Max... the part where Max calls out to Chloe from the attic... the letter from Chloe to Max in the time capsule where she says they "always save each other"... and the brochure and book about "mid-life career change"/back-to-school for Joyce... Everything basically. Everything gave me the feels!

Maybe there is hope.. I mean max had the tornado vision before she even had her power and nobody can say if chloes dead stopped the tornado

Rune Munch Pedersen I did choose that ending, the 3rd time I played it. I could barely bring myself to do it. Bae is a way better ending. There are some things I still can't bring myself to do, after playing through it several times. Letting Kate jump, pulling the plug on Chloe, I still refuse to do. What a game man. Didn't think I'd like it when I first played it.

Thats is the odd thing. I think that narratively bay is a much better ending. I just can't do it.

And I always pull the plug. It is what she wanted, after all, and she was suffering.

The parallel is so heartbreaking, youth and innocence opposed to death and misery.

I can't imagine the developers not thinking about it. Therefore I guess, it's not meant to be understood the way it's shown, but more in symbolic way - Max leaving when Chloe needed her the most.

Also that way the taped message hits a bit harder rather than showing them saying farewell to each other

Actually, we don't know the funeral was 3 days later. It could have been more. They could have delayed a day or two to stay for the funeral, which would explain leaving immediately.

I knew it was coming. When Chloe said "They should be home by now" while talking about her parents I was "No! No they didn't. Tell me they didn't!"

That line from Chloe wondering why her parents weren't home yet messed me up HARD. Genuinely had no idea this was all taking place the same day of the breakfast flashback until that line.

Max Would have probably died due to nose bleeds or something That would Make Chloe's Parents best Friend and Lover that all died Chloe Would probably kill her self i'm not sure

They are making a comic book type thing about the sacrifice Arcadia Bay ending so no need to be curious for long!

Life is strange 1 is about max and chloe. Life is strange: BTS is about chloe and rachel, which is back in time. The next Life is Strange: piratehunt is even more back in the past. So if dontnod will make another Life is Strange with Max, then logically it will be even more back in time. And then the final Life is Strange about Max is even more back in time and we will only see little cells moving as she is an embryo. And we will play Agar.io-like games and do splitrunning all the time and it will end where Max will kick in the stomache.

Hello from the future. I know what the next LiS is like. Knida empty and boring actually. With beautiful locations (lots of nature), great music (I believe "Into the Woods" surpasses both "The Right Way Around" and "Max and Chloe", but obviously it's cool if you disagree), characters who feel equally real and interesting to the ones from the original Life is Strange... but regardless, it still feels empty and boring. At least to me. What I dislike the most are the consequences of how the story is structured. Because the main characters are constantly on the move, and have to get very far between the major events, the secondary characters just come and go, which means little attachment can be achieved. The only constant thing you get is the relationship between Sean and Daniel, which is a problem, if you don't really feel for them, like I didn't. My problem with playing as Sean was that we have nothing in common, so his goals, reactions, feelings and even, quite often, dialogue options did not feel natural to me. And being an only child, I can't really relate to having a brother, so there wasn't a lot of familiarity for me there either, although it probably hit home for many people. Speaking of which, Daniel, although started out having a similar role in the story as Clementine in TWD season 1 (a child that you gotta take care of and grow to like and really care about), quickly begun to make himself less and less likeable. Which I get it, because not every kid is the nicest and most reasonable person around, especially after dealing with such tough situations, but understanding why he behaved like he did doesn't mean I'd be able to just look past all that and dig his company. Another thing: a lot of time passes between the episodes, which always makes the beginning of a new one feel alien to some point. And as a consequence, you don't get to see some events, only read about them. Which wouldn't be a problem, if Sean was able to write more like Max or Chloe did, to be able to engage a reader and be descriptive about the stuff that happens. Instead he just scribbles short and laconic notes about what happened. Again, I get that it's just the way he is as a person, but it was the devs who choose to invent him this way, and I think that was a mistake. I'd especially would like to see some events between the first and the second episode, but I guess I can read a few words about it and try to imagine all the dialogue and interactions... And the return of the damned QTE (I will always praise the first game for showing that you can indeed make an immersive, story-driven game without such cheap "gameplay enriching" shenanigans) is upsetting. To end on a more positive note: play The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. It's a lot better than the whole LiS 2 in my opinion, as most of the criticism I have for part 2 does not apply to this game. The title is not misleading, the game's really awesome. And it feels more Life is Strange-esque than 2.
