It’s one of those movies that lends a bit of perspective on how life happens for you. It’s sad in the beginning but in the end, it’s just wow. Unfortunately, in this time and life we don’t get to make it that far.

I like this movie . The time line seems off though . Will says her parents die in a car accident when she was 7 and then he says she lives with her abusive uncle . She loses her grandma when she’s six and her dog a year later . She has her talk with her grandpa at 8 and it appears as if she lives with him . For those reasons , the time line seems off . But I really like the movie .

That’s the point. The entire movie is about the unreliable narrator. It’s all second and third hand information eventually given out by the granddaughter. She wasn’t present for any of it.

Abby parents died in a car accident and she was abused by her uncle. Her daughter dylan is the one who loses her grandma and dog and lives with grandpa. It's two different people
