Life lately: Big Chop, My Hearts Broken, Funk Recovery & Healing my lipo Infection 

Good job making it through the first 3 months of this year guys. I hope life is being kind to you but most importantly that you are being kind to yourself ❤ 1 month no video is crazyyy, I was going through it with my health, these ninjas and personal things I didn't include. Butttt it's all Gucci now! glad to be back and I appreciate your support. I had a lot of anxiety editing this because of the raw moments but I was able to get past it and post!

One thing that has been a struggle for me is going from being a lucky girl to STRUGGLING after college. Adulting is not easy. Road blocks everywhere and it feels like an unfamiliar territory. I no longer have control over things but I believe this is God telling me to put my trust in him and not on my own abilities

“You start getting used to of having to let go of these connections.” 💯 Well said. Experience and maturity brings you there. Through maturity, you learn to love yourself more.

The “funk” is the spirit of heaviness, what helps me is to praise God for all he’s done, it puts you in a more grateful mood.

25 and so mature. You are doing things far beyond people your age. Im turning 35 this year by Gods good grace and mercy. We love ALL of the content by the way 💕

I watched the devotional part fully girlll :)!! Here's my takeaway, specifically from the statement you made "You guys know I do not care to look or talk the part, there's alot of pressure theres alot of backlash. I show up as I am and Jesus loves me." Amennn to that ending part, yes Jesus loves you. Because of the love we know Jesus has for us, just like in any relationship it is important to reciprocate the same love. One way to showcase our love for God is to "do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is good, pleasing, and the perfect will of God." Romans 12:2. The part I want you to take from this verse is the" be transformed by the renewing of your mind" , many times in scripture God discusses that if we really love him we will take up our cross daily and die to our old ways (Romans 6:6.) The honest truth when walking with Christ is dying to your old way of life, unfortunately, you can not walk with Christ and still desire to hold onto the things that are not of Christ. This is easier said than done, but I want you to understand that because Jesus still loves you no matter where you are in your walk with him, he still desires to change your desires, he still desires to take you to higher heights and higher levels and this can only be done by "surrender." as your devotional stated. God desires us to walk like Jesus did, not BE him, but he tells us in scripture be holy, because i am holy (Leviticus 21:8.)This is for our own protection, and for us to start seeing the Love of God in our lives. God honors an obedient heart, a heart that knows its imperfect but desires to change and not remain stagnant. I want to finish off by saying the statement you made about having conviction and desiring to be better just shows you already have the holy spirit within you because it is only the holy spirit that convicts, now its time to completely walk with the holy spirit and surrender (John 14:15-31) . Love you girl

God is teaching me to speak up! Setting boundaries, I just broke up with friends because I felt like they felt that they could talk to me crazy, use me, etc because I’m quiet and go with the flow. I finally spoke up about my feelings and it wasn’t respected so I just had to show myself out. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m at peace. Also I write in my gratitude journal and also read my devotional book too 🤍

Postpartum effects are REAL and thats coming from a licensed mental health therapist as a mama ❤️ you are so strong. Keep thriving Sophie.
