I feel like I have well and truly joined the mum life club now I finally have my baby daughter at 40 years old after 11 years trying and two losses. I’ve always enjoyed watching these vlogs and yearned for the day I would be a mum myself. Great to see you back with a vlog. It’s the first one I’ve watched a a mum, my daughter is 8 weeks old today. Missed them!

I work third shift at a lab testing covid and I come home and just eat all the comfort food. Also the kitchen is looking so good with the paint change! Decorate what makes you happy! If this COVID lockdown as taught us anything is that you need to love where you live lol. I loved Roald Dahl as a kid. Charlie and the Chocolate factory and the BFG were big favorites. Charolette's web was also a big favorite. It was so nice to see you post on here. I get my daily dose of course on insta but I did miss your lovely vlogs. You deserved some time off and with the COVID wibbly wobbly I think everyone needs a reset button so to speak. So much love for you and your little family. I definitely think when it comes to decor I love seeing people’s houses that have their own edge and style to them, gets boring if everyone’s house looks the same with same style and colours . So yes embrace your own style and be individual to you, it will look great x

It was so nice to sit out on the porch and knit while I watched this. We're still pretty deep in the throes of quarantine here in Ontario so not much to do besides cozy, homey things and Louise's videos are always perfect for that. If you are ever visiting near Cirencester, you would absolutely love Octavia's Bookshop on Black Jack Street. It is absolutely incredible and I think you would love Octavia herself. She is incredibly passionate about books and has such an amazing knowledge. It is mainly a children's bookshop but does have an adult section. Octavia reads all of the books and is able to give the best recommendations - books that you wouldn't normally choose but then you end up loving!! It's a real gem and I just feel like you would love it!!

It's 7 pm while I'm watching this in Aus and I'm bloody happy you're back!! I love hearing about the house designs and can't wait to see it all. I love Roald Dahl books/movies especially bfg and James and the giant peach. We've got a 15 month old daughter and we're trying to compliment her cleverness and her attempts at trying because the only failure is to not try - a lesson we're also trying to learn. Paused after the flooring/decorating chat to say, I am here 100% for these chats - it’s not boring. I just bought a house and am about to start “dressing” it. Not ready for full on decorating but I want a new carpet in my lounge/stairs and landing, my first sofa and some cute living room storage furniture. Right...unpause ☺️

Thank you for admitting that you like your pinks better than the popular gray tones. That was one thing I was a little nervous about when painting and decorating my house is admitting that I liked the tan tones and color better than the gray that the rest of my family my age liked. Now I have a yellow room, a purple room, a sky blue room, and a tan room and I am so happy with them. I love your new pink room, and decor. 🧁
