Toshiko Noda is a traditional lacquerware craftswoman, based in Minami-Ashigara (Kanagawa). She started her journey in lacquerware after being amazed by a craft made by Kosaku Noda, who eventually became her future teacher, and husband.
With her words, she explains what is lacquerware and what it means to her.
