For a second imagine going through the hell that was all years of the war with the same crew of guy’s occasionally getting a new tank and getting excited to field such piece of machinery. Only to be vibe checked when your country falls apart as you defend its capital. One last time.
Personally, I think a WW2 game completely from the Axis point of view would be amazing Think of this, a young soldier in the Polish Front, then a triumphant soldier after the French Blitz, then have italians dealing with the Ethiopians, a disastrous campaign in greece, and the last stands in africa, then go have a IJA soldier in China, then the IJN during the southern expansion, and finally, a last stand during Okinawa or Iwo Jima Just make the game not shy away from the truth of the war
This is Hans Hans's first battle was in 1939 with his Panzer II, with the invasion of Poland. In 1940 he and his crew got a new Panzer lll, and his fighting in the Maginot Lines. After that, when Germany attacked Russia in 1941, operation Barbarossa came out. Hans and his crew used the little winter clothing they had and they're Panzer IV. In 1942, Germany needed support with Afrika Korps/El Alamain, so he and his crew moved there. After that, in 1943 He was needed to secure Germanys position and he fought in the battle of kursk. (with a sick haircut of course) In 1944 he and his crew got their hands on the Panther tank, and they used it at the Italy defense. In 1945 He and his crew used a Tiger ll to fight for Berlin. Unfortunately, his tank got shot from the side, and the ammo went off... R. I. P. Hans, you will be missed

Dudes a Legendary Crewman lol. Imagine going from a Pz II to a King Tiger. The kills and exploits he must've racked up during the war would be enough for a full book.
There are dozens of those books. They are old now and harder to find, but find a second hand shop and look in the history section. You might get lucky and find a signed copy of Achtung Panzer
@@SpeakermanYTSHORTSyour name is speakerman yt and you clearly aren’t very knowledgeable on ww2 so let me catch you up, he did end up being a tiger operator because that last tank is known as a king tiger
Goodbye, Hans... Russian Russians respect you (I am Russian). Your path was good, even you are a German, and you are respected by Russians. you fought for your homeland, and we fought for ours, Hans, you did your job, it's time to leave... R.I.P
I wish more games had model replacement, lets say youre playing enlisted and you win a match, in the next match your side will look better, cleaner, shaven, uniform etc. Wheras the other side will look tired, messy, less uniform etc. Could add a nice vibe for certain modes
There is a game in Roblox called "Shell Shock" which is about WW1. Beside having to eat and drink water to not die, russhing to get gassmasks and ammo and water/food before it runs out, ass the match progresses with trenche being taken or defended, you start on clean uniforms and at least on earlier version a you boarded the train to start the match a beautiful city full of cheering people was shown. But as it progresses, your uniform becomes dirt, your field cap/early WW1 German pike helmet is replaced by metal helmets, your face becomes dirty and your eyes become slowly "the thouand-yard stare", and the supplies run out, forcing you to eat dead rats you can kill or even steal from nearby farms during trench-charges or killing cow, and to drink from mud. At the end of the round, the city is destroyed, shops closed, and no civilians to be seen, as they died in the war. Edit: Ah, during the last trench raids, you are full of bandages too. And the NPC artillery, player grenadess, and placed miness will eventually destroy the farms and damage the ground. Also, not sure now, but in earlier versions of the game, if you tried to stay on the trench during attacking time, say, stay on the MG to give support to charging NPCs/players, the NPC Officer would kill you with his sword.
just like roblox "Shell Shock" game which has the same idea as you. But 1 differences, both team will change per 1 match, the expressions, the clothing etc.
I can imagine him smiling in the first photo and as the years go by his smile only disappears until in the last photo he is just completely given over to the war and he knows that his end will be inside this metal can

They weren't getting depressed, because the sad fact was, that a lot of them didn't know the current situation, and people who knew it, fought with a smile, knowing however that they might die, or live happily the rest of their lives as a civil.
honestly morale is decreased and increased overtime because there are reports that soldiers would have better morale after a kill but the decrease in morale is becuase of ptsd, shellshock, anxiety, etc

Did you know that the the history of the black beret started with the french first then the Britsh for their tank corps? It was from then on that countries like Australia, Finland, Israel, Singapore and Germany also adopted the black beret to mostly represent their armoured forces.
Actually, it started in WW1 when they noticed that being inside a tank meant your uniform would get full of oil. So they slowly replaced in some countries, the tank crew's regular uniform for black one (Notable on the Panzer Corps uniforms being full black). As for berets, or the German crew/officer caps, it also was made black for the same oil reason. Were they wearing a olive one, for example, the oil would make it all dirt. Some countries realised the tank crew needed a new helmet due to crew often hitting their heads on the tank's inside. I'm Brazilian, and to this day, our motorized/mechanized infantry and our armored cavalry (Tank crews) uses black berets, but when operating armored vehicles, uses tank helmets. Edit: If you're wondering about the 1942 one not wearing black uniform, it is quite ssimple to explain. While in most of WW2, anyone in German forcess operating armor, be it AA (Flakpanzers), Destroyers/Asssault Gunss (Jagdpanzers, Jagerpanzers, StuG's, StuH's...), or Panzers, would use the black one with only difference identifying their role (AA, Asssault Gun...) being in the collar/shoulder color. But in Afrika Corps, be it for camo or for comfort, they would usse the desert pattern, sssummer uniforms (You don't want to be wearing a normal, black uniform (black colors retain heat, white colors don't), inside a functional tank (their engines were used to cook food in Africa). Same in the URSS. They would wear winter uniforms which were white or grayish. In those, it'ss better to just have a oil-marked white/tan uniform than to die due to the poor climate protection.
@@person18I don’t see why they wouldn’t if the tanks were damaged and disabled beyond hopes of repair and recovery, unless they had personal reasons to die along with it
My dude started the dazing war, Go to Paris, go war in france Africa, survived the Retreat of Barbarosa, Defending the homeland on D-day in Normandy, Managed to survive and retreated to Rineland, defend Berlin to the last drop of blood True giga Chad
This tank might fought in 1939: Invasion of poland 1940: wester front (blietzkrieg) 1941: eastern front (op. Barbarossa) 1942: african campaign 1943: either in battle of kursk or in italian civil war 1944: overlord campaign (d-day) 1945: battle of berlin
People never take a minute to spare a moment for our opponents during that war. Respect to the Germans and Italians that were KIA, may they rest in peace alongside our own dead.
