20+ years after the Life of Pi was released and its author Yann Martel won the Booker Prize for his extraordinary story about a boy and a tiger in a life boat, Yann is interviewed by the Shelf Help Club, who chose the title as their book club pick for Nov/Dec 2022.
Life of Pi is a fictional book, but it's filled with universal life lessons and inspiring themes of resilience, hope and healing, and so it was the perfect end of year read for a personal development book club.
This interview is a must-watch for any Life of Pi fans, as well as anyone interested in the researching, writing and publishing process of a global literary phenomenon.
(and because this conversation happened while the book club was only halfway through the book there are NO plot spoilers, incase you are yet to read/finish the book).
