Sikhs are some of the nicest people , I live in the states and back in the 90s someone burned down our Masjidh but the Sikh community donated around a million dollars to rebuild it and even helped , amazing people
I am from Peshawar currently living abroad. I can testify that the Sikh community there had the best manners and attitude. I remember a Sikh family living in our neighbor in Gulbahar. They had the respect of all our colony. I Wish them best of luck.

Excellent documentary made by Tag Tv. Presentation was also brilliant. So soothing to see our Sikh community living peacefully in Peshawar. Especially young boys and girls reading Punjabi and singing Gurbani on harmonium. I appreciate and applaud Muslim brothers also for showing so much grace and respect to Sikh community. Sikh community has resemblance in language, pardah, hospitality, beauty, honesty to Pathans to much extent. Majority speak Pushtu and they feel proud to be pukhtun like. Love and respect from a pukhtun of Peshawar Pakistan.

Peshawar ,The first time in 60s I flew into this city it was like entering a place straight out of the Middle Ages.I took a brief tour of the city past narrow streets, centuries-old bazaars, walled forts and old architectural designs on wood and brick houses - all of which evoked memories of a distant past .I still dream of going back to Peshawar before i say Goodbye but I'm too old to travel.One thing i must acknowledge here is about the Pashtuns ,Each of whom is a king of his own.,Remarkable people with passionate love for freedom and violent opposition to any infringement of their liberty .I don't know much Pashto but i remember two phrases stary me shy,Wara zaga kha da?I I'm English By the way .
He said social customs, marriage rituals of Sikhs are similar to Pakhtuns. Why not !! They were like branches of same tree. Pakhtuns used to be Hindus and Buddhists before Islam came. Chinese travellers in 4rth-7th centuries made detailed accounts of it. Later, after becoming Musalman, they changed some of their original ways of life. Sikhs are still adhering to that.
I'm from the FATA region of Pakistan in District Khyber Sikhs community lives in my native village since more than a century. They have their own business and I figure most of their women cover their faces like our women do. They speaks a very sweet our native tongue and they're divided into the Branches like our nation have. Many have business in the Tirah Valley and they're happy and safe
