I am about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime! For the next 9 months, I will be living and working on a remote island in the Irish Sea! Join me on this adventure as I give you an insight into off-grid living and our daily antics, whilst sharing why island life is so special.
I am one of four Wardens living and working on the Calf of Man, a remote island, Bird Observatory and Nature Reserve located just off of the Isle of Man. The island is owned by Manx National Heritage and run in partnership with the Manx Wildlife Trust and we are here for the season, that runs from March to November. At the age of 28, I have just quit my job to pursue a different lifestyle, a simpler way of life close to nature. I hope you enjoy watching!

Hi. I live in Castletown and only moved to the IoM about 6 months ago. My wife and I are desperate to get a visit in to the Calf of Man, it always looks incredible from The Sound. We’ll have to bring some treats over for the team!

Thanks for this, I'm looking forward to watching more. I was warden in 2006 and find it very hard to explain to my children what it was like. We watched the first one this morning.

Hi! I'm French and I filmed a video on my YT channel of my walk around the Isle of Man in March this year. I remember looking at the Calf of Man thinking it was totally uninhabited. But you were actually probably already there when I was looking at the Calf of Man, that's funny to think I am able to write to you now. I wish I would have been able to go there. Life on the Calf seems amazing, it is great that you are able to do that. Wish you the best
