Yeah John Simm said they basically had about 5 minutes to do a scene in between flights, and if they could get three done in an hour they’d done well. It’s mad they chose that location really but they were limited by the fact they needed old looking buildings that hadn’t been surrounded by new ones.
I think it's funny how at one point he says "fucking shit"...they leave the "fucking" and bleep out the shit. Not making fun, just find it amusing. I adore this show beyond anything. It was so clever and unlike anything I've ever seen before. I just rewatched the whole thing within 2 weeks. I am sad it's over...again :P It is a show that stands the rewatching test though, it is still so brilliant and still ties my stomach in knots with suspense. "squeal piggie squeal!"
Being in the US and not having Britbox till November '21, I had only seen a couple episodes of the US version. I didn't even know about the UK versions. I am now watching it again. The last episode just breaks my heart, but I push through and watch it.
The guy playing Sam - whose name I know but have forgotten ATM - seems to get very frustrated with himself when he makes a mistake. Otherwise, bloody hilarious. :D
You've probably found out the name of Sam Tyler's actor by now since it's been 11 years since this comment but just in case I'll tell you it's "John Simm".
@@PeterGreen-t8c Yeah, plus its actually a critique of social attitudes back then not a celebration of them. Evidently some ppl are too thick to actually understand that
