I upload this with the hope we'll see the full Edmund Butt soundtrack to Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes someday. I pieced this together from a few different scenes from the show. You can still hear sounds of the actors and background sounds as I couldn't find a completely clear piece of just the music. But I've always loved this music for how sad/nostalgic/lonely it feels.

It saddens me that I can't find the original ost at all; the ambient music in this show is phenomenal and feels so otherwordly and somehow nostalgic with the synth pads and eerie piano parts. I love it to bits but can't find any of it anywhere, so I appreciate you uploading this segment, thank you.

It’s so annoying Edmund Butt who did this beautiful soundtrack has every other soundtrack he did on his apple profile except this... the best one!

Nicely made! The song that interests me the most is the song from the scene where Gene Hunt lectures the team after SPOILER AHEAD after thinking he's a murderer it also plays on the Superintendent Woolf betrayal scene
