Hiii guys! Finally the snowmobile season has started! So we headed out on our snowmobiles and drove to Grumant, and run into some trouble along the way! First we had to go get the snowmobiles from the village so you get to see what driving snowmobile through Longyearbyen looks like :) I hope you enjoy this video and subscribe for more videos from my life on Svalbard, an island close to the North Pole!

Dogs are funny, he may have slipped on the floor once, so doesn't trust it. My dog (hooked a paw in his long bib hair) and stumbled going up the opened back stairs, so now he always hesitates then circles before going up the stairs. 😘

Circle K in Svalbard!!!! They really are on the way! Circle K started in the American West, as a AZ boy, it's so strange to see a Circle K in a place like that. For us in the American West Circle K is about cool drinks on a hot (43 C and warmer) summer day on a long road trip on the American highway system. What a treat! Thanks! So can you get a pizza Grandiosa and a hot dog there?

It probably used to be a Statoil station, but Statoil fuel and retail got bought and all the stations in northern europe and elsewhere changed the name to Circle K a few years back.

I was surprised by the fuel prices. That's really not that bad. I paid more than that in certain parts of Alaska 10 years ago.

I think they bought the state-owned Norwegian Statoil

@@erikz1337 They bought Statoil fuel and retail which was a subsidiary company of Statoil ASA and the over 2000 Statoil retail stations in Scandinavia and Northern Europe changed the name to Circle K around 2016. The state-owned petroleum company Statoil changed its name to Equinor in 2018 and the Norwegian government is still the majority shareholder.

I know me too! There was one video where she goes to the gym and my safety conscious mind I’m like “oh my gosh why didn’t she go during the day instead of the middle of the night. Duh it was the middle of the day! Like 1PM. I guess when your used to normal light and dark 24 hour patterns it’s hard to wrap your mind around total dark all the time.

This was amazing! I have never seen a snowmobile from the drivers point of view before and it looks like so much fun. Does Grim ever leap off when you are actually moving or does he wait for you to stop? He was so excited when you got back to the cabin it was a joy to watch 😁 I’m having a tough day as my 86 year old father has just been taken into the hospital with COVID but this video took me a way for 20 minutes and made me smile, I may watch it again just to see Grim and Fenris bouncing around. Stay safe x

I'm so afraid of the dark and the thought of polar bears lurking anywhere doesn't please me either so this seems absolutely terrifying! But then again those snowmobiles do look super fun! What cool dogs going with you guys too😋

I think it's more common to meet Polar bears near water and ice, as that's where they like to get food.

I love Grim and that’s what made me hooked on to your channel. And I’m so amazed to see you guys being so nonchalant with -6 degrees as being not cold haha. I’ve never experienced that kind of cold but my brother is currently working somewhere in the Himalayas and it was -9 yesterday and my mum was freaking out wondering how cold it was and poor him 😅 Really admire your resilience and spirit ☺️

I loved this video so much I have a snowmobile myself and I live in Canada so we don’t have a lot of snow right now in the south :( so I’ve only been able to ride a couple times this year the snow is more north, this is making me itch to want to just ride more and get more snow🥺 but loved this video so much 💖
