One thing i'm learning about Vanlife/carlife, is you have to just go with the flow, and be flexible and patient! Plans usually always change for whatever reason in this lifestyle! And my van has remote start! Such a great tool in colder conditions! I love it!
I've been to Forks! Not much in the town, except Twilight this and that, but it was a BEAUTIFUL drive there. Quite a drive away, Bremerton has Illahee State Park, and it's got lots of trails, the beach, and a gorgeous view of Puget Sound. You should check it out!
Ah, the complexity of the false-summer-day feel that the alpine sun offers. In my home-mountain town in CO we are blessed with the same problem. It’ll look like summer out, minus the dry foliage, but will be 8-14 degrees in the morning lol.
Really amazing to see what tasty meals you are able to rustle up, despite not having a entire kitchen. Also loved the beach at the end. I feel like it could be a good set for a movie. Great video look forward to the next one.
Thank you!! It definitely forces me to get creative, which I love. Honestly all of Washington state kinda feels like a movie set, too perfect to be real ❤️
High tide is one of the things that gave me my final push to move to the mountains in my CHR, instead of the beach in Texas; the state I’m originally from where I’d never really experienced the mountains.
Beautiful beach… you make it look so easy to find places to stay … is it because that’s your stomping grounds ? Happy to see your almost to 1000 subs and I hope 10k comes soon for you
I tried tofu with my Chinese food as I wanted to go meatless that night. However it was the texture for me that I didn't like. Might try to give it a fry next time.
Fried Tofu is a Japanese classic. Know as Aegedashi Tofu, it's usually served in a Ponzu type sauce and is absolutely delicious. There is also a spicy tofu dish with minced meat called Mabo do tofu and it's delicious if you like spice. ( I'm sure I butchered the spelling on both those dishes lol) Sunset was amazing!
First time I had tofu was "volcano tofu" at a Japanese restaurant. And I've love it ever since! I'm definitely going to make it very spicy next time ❤️
@@lifeinmyelement definitely try it. I typically use ground beef, onion, green onion, some garlic and then spice it up with either some chili oil or some chili paste. Any Asian spicy mix would work. Add the tofu close to the end so it doesn't overcook
You might also like TVP (textured vegetable protein) mix it with some spices and oil and it's sort of like taco meat. But because it's dried and defatted it keeps at room temperature.
Crazy, first I figured it was a sound bite she edited in for some reason. I mean, it's a stereotypical haunted laugh. Sounds like there's an echo and everything, and it just cuts off at the end? So strange to that you can't hear any talking either during or after. Maybe somebody at the campsite played a sound clip with laughter on a speaker 🤔 I'm not superstitious at all, but that weirded me out just seeing it on a vlog. If I was there alone I would probably leave.
I feel like you live in your van the way I would. Just like solo mode “oh shit that didn’t work what about this” until something works out. Do you ever miss the structure of the day to day working grind?
What's the orange light on your dashboard? VSC light? This is the second video I have watched of yours now just happened to notice it again. Sorry I'm a car guy. Lol
How can you sit in the middle of e forest and feel sfe? All by your self , I mean what if ? What are the precautions you take ? World is not Alice in the wonderland 😮
