I just want to reiterate how grateful I feel to be part of this incredible process. I love my job beyond words and so thankful to be in the position I’m in. ❤️ but like you, I am human and have l emotions as well! Unfortunate things sometimes happen and I always want to be honest about situations I deal with. I hope you can understand and respect my feelings & vulnerability. but again, I am SO thankful for this job & would not trade it for the world! 🌎

I'm so sorry about Callum being delayed. I can relate, my husband was in the military and it sucks not having control in situations like that. I think you said three weeks and that's about now, I think. So if you're not reunited yet, I hope it's soon. Feel your feelings girl, it's how we get through it! Since you can't sit up on your bed, you need a collapsible camp stool. They are around 10 inches around but max 2 inches thick. It expands into a stool very easily and collapses when not in use

So sorry Calum(sp?) is delayed. Your bunks are shrinking. Just hope they don't end up like the racks we had on Navy Subs!😳 Oh, and because there were more crew than racks, noobs had to share. When one crawled out another crawled in - called "hot racking." On the bright side, even though galleys are tiny, the food was probably better than what you get - in the beginning when we had fresh food. After that it was frozen, canned and powdered. On nuke subs, our limiting factor on how long we could stay out was food 😋 Still, my time at sea - under it - was an adventure and I enjoyed the challenge of being a sonar operator. Jordan, you will have such great memories overall and no matter what you do in the future, you will have had an incredible experience!

I also dislike soy milk. I usually drink almond or oat milk. I’m a barista and it’s always so awkward for me to hide my revulsion of soy milk when clients ask me which one I recommend and which is most similar to regular milk, because in my experience it seems that everyone has a different opinion.

Every time Jordan is in her room my eyes go straight to the tv and the “ hey I a new tear me off yellow label on the right hand side”.. 😂 oddly gives me anxiety, I would be ripping that sucker off. ( yes I am weird ). Frankly I thought the sad news would be something “big”.. My husband near lost his life 3 weeks ago on the operating table ( stopped breathing and was on life support for about a week ), once you go through “big things” the small things don’t seem so bad at all. I know it sucks, but at the end of the day it’s not really a big deal. I am glad Jordan understands that and doesn’t dwell on it.

You should keep some lactaid pills on you so if you have to drink regular milk you won’t have any issues.. I make sure to keep those near me when going to eat or get something to drink lol they really work! Lol
