i'm an 8 too. i'm a loner and people are always against me (even family!), so yeah, it;s hard being an 8. but i notice people who "hate" on me, usually copy me (in secret). i'm challenged on everything, my lifestyle, political beliefs, likes, dislikes, status, appearance, friends, or lack thereof, personal beliefs, etc. it's definitely tough, but at times rewarding... 1's are typically bugged by me

For 8's money is only a tool, its only a byproduct of what they really want. What 8 wants the most is POWER. There are 2 things that represents power: money and status.

All these times I've been asking why me, when I should've ask, why not me. I wish nothing but success and happiness for you.

From my studies and being an 8. I came to understand that 8s are actually a spiritual number and one of the most powerful spiritual numbers along with 1s. People with 8 life path need to connect more their psyche ,get more spiritual and gain knowledge. The true power of 8 lies the power to control and manage power as well as to share power to others. I'm crying right now bc it is so nice to have some reassurance of why I always fail even though I know I'm generally the most competent choice. I always justify failing by saying it wasn't meant to be. I actually was told I was going to get a promotion then idk what happened besides 8 path sabotage and they gave it to someone out of left field. I have been so broken up bc it was a huge shot to my ego and I finally in my life wanted that power and self acceptance from others but once I calmed down i realized it's bc this job is not for me and I'm meant for bigger things and that I need to keep my eye on the biggest prize and keep rising to be my higher self. I feel so much better knowing it's not bc I'm not good enough, it's bc I'm too good and need to let the person who needs these little accomplishment have them until I can be better.

What I fould out about beening a 8 is that you have to be ruder and act like someting more than the oters or they wont respect you eaven if you are actually a actually a better person that what you act to be

This video makes my life make much more sense now. In the past month I've lost my job, broke up with my boyfriend 2 times. I literally have 10 cent in my pocket yet I'm online finding inspirational things to keep me going because this is just ANOTHER fucking obstacle I have to get through. Made me happy cry when you said the why not me? part. When I was younger I would always ask why was I being put under all these harsh lessons but once I started gaining the strength to face whatever came my way I started to understand why it had to be me. 🤴🏾

My last job in a pet shop I was the longest part time staff member there and never got promoted despite my efforts. I worked hard but started to slack (like everyone else) because we got bored of never being appreciated. I ended up never being given shifts even though everyone else did and I had been there the longest. I eventually got pushed out and was asked to hand my notice in. A month went by and In my other job I had on the side of the pet shop job I was given a job as a shop manager. Things happen for a reason guys!

Yessss. It NEVER stops. The breaks I get last 24 hours at most before another ax falls.

Omg, first three minutes of your video I knew you were right on. Especially the part where you say 8's never get a break in life. That is so true. It looks like every little small thing I do thats wrong, people fuckin notice it and make a big deal about it and they knock me down for it. But other people I know can get away with little shit. Wow! Thank you for your video, Alyssa! I have been wondering why the I keep getting let go from so many jobs when I am always working my ass off and am very competent. Another thing that I encounter at work is that my female managers feel very threatened by me, but I am not a threatening person...in fact, I'm quite a docile person. But, from what I can gather, regardless of how docile I am, the fact is that an 8 Life Path person comes with the inevitability that they will be threatening to some people. Whew! Keep your eyes open and be ready to take advantage of opportunities when they arise. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was not acting in my own best interest when an adversary came out of nowhere and presented me with the opportunity to take him down and also settle out of court for a very nice sum. I didn't act based upon knowledge and experience from Saturn's prior lessons and suffered the consequences. Learn your lessons well because they will be presented to you again, and you need to be ready.

Ugh! YESSSSS. And recently more than ever. It's almost like these "lessons" come out of nowhere some times. Just when you think you're getting somewhere, something knocks you down. But 8's are really damn strong! Something that has kept recurring in my life is... Why do I always have to be the strong one 100% of the time? Why can't I have just that one moment of weakness? That one moment where someone else can pick us up? And life is like... NOPE, get yourself up from your own bootstraps. I believe in astrology and numerology and I love your videos Alyssa but I'm having some issues understanding the 8 vibration as it relates to my brother. He was born 7/27/1972 which made him an 8 life path. He was born with some physical problems and had struggled for that and many other reasons during his life. He was then brutally murdered in 2004 at age 32. If 8 is such a great number, I'm having a hard time understanding it.

Sometimes I love being an 8 and other times I really wish I was anything else. When I was younger I would constantly ask why me and just feel like a victim of life as if my misery pleased whatever great being was in charge of things. But over time I have become grateful for the constant challenges I face because I love who I became and how indestructible you start to feel. I have also found that a lot of our lesson is about learning our own value. A numerologist I adore did a series about the main challenge for each life path and it really hits home. The more I value myself the better things go for me. I think the climb to the top is the reason we get to it. We're made to be strong and perseverance is key to our success. The intimidation thing is so real though and I find it annoying and unnecessary af. I'm literally the sweetest person ever and super loving I just carry my shit well and became strong because I had no choice really. Being a rising Scorpio hasn't helped in that department either lol.

Hi Alyssa, I am a 35/8. I thought your video was quite accurate from my perspective. My employment experience with others has always been short-lived, and I have been fired as well several times. I don't have a desire for money or material success. I am prone to be honest to a fault, and I am conscientious about choosing what I see as the highest good at the moment. My life dynamic from a money perspective has been surely challenging, but life assisted me early on (when I was 20, freshly out of the Air Force, in 1980). I met a person who became a friend, and he introduced me to massage therapy. I have been doing that ever since, working for myself. Even then, there have been ups and downs income-wise, but the message of the Universe is to trust. True trust resides in joy, not fear. Alyssa, I so relate to you being an 8 too. Definitely we do have an issue with career and finances. I'm 42 and have been on a rollercoaster of highs and lows in spite of my CV and what comes along. I've found some solace in tweaking my name to 5 according to Vedic numerology. Girl once by mistake I did it to 8, ooofff!!! Was I whipped by Saturn!! As a 5, still keep trying to break the loop. I'm an 8, and I have been fired from most jobs I've had for very silly reasons. My last employer told me that I had extremely good sales, but she said that I was too sneaky with how I persuaded people to buy things. To me, this makes no sense... However, I just left. It was time to move on anyway.
