Thank you mam for the amazing session 🔴🔴homework 🔴🔴 No the plants will not remain healthy for a a long time because when leaves of a healthy potted plant were coated with vaseline the stomata will get blocked and therefore no gaseous exchange will take place and without the presence of carbon dioxide, no photosynthesis will take place and also no transportation will take place as the pores of stomata are blocked.

Variegated leaves are those leaves which have different color zones... For ex..money plant (ii) When leaf is boiled in alcohol the chlorophyll was removed from the leaf. because of the removal of chlorophyll it turned colourless..when we pour iodine in the solution brown colour turned into blue and black colour (iii) reduction of carbon dioxide form carbohydrates during photosynthesis..it is stored in the form of starch and when it used up again then it changed on sucrose.. Chlorophyll helps in absorbing light

Answer to Homework Question: If the leaves of a healthy potted plant are coated with Vaseline, it will not stay healthy for long. Every organism requires nutrition to stay healthy. A plant synthesis it's own food by the process of photosynthesis. It will then use the produced food to get energy. But in order to produce the food, it needs carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is taken by the plant through stomata which are present in it's leaves. If the leaves are covered with Vaseline, the Vaseline seals the stomata, thereby cutting the carbon dioxide supply of the plant. As it is not possible to produce food without carbon dioxide, the plant will soon become unhealthy.
