Leather sector children work over 80 hours per week, surpassing the international labour organizations limit of 42 hours. According to CLARISSA research, 34% of slum children are engaged in child labour, with 91% working beyond the limit, receiving two or three times less wages than adult workers and sacrificing their schooling.
