Thank You very much for this intresting Presentation of Panchen Lamas Lifestory. I used to work for Swiss Red Cross in Shigatse as Translator. It was my hapyers time in my life. I know wath effort Panchen Rimpoche has made to preserve Tibetan Culture in Tibet. One can say, that he payed his life for it. Grown up since childhood in Switzerland and lived 8 years in Tibet my self, I know, wath suffer Tibetans in Tibet are going through. I feel sometimes ashamed to be an Exil Tibetan. We are talking too much and doing less to preserve oure Culture and Unity of Tibet. We should take examples to the Jewish Peopel, who suffert so much and still are able to stick together through difficult times and Generations. And even Chinese peopel, they don’t like each other, but never would fight against there own nation, like Tibetans are doing sometimes. So we Shell think more deeply where our real enemy is? Inside or outside?
We Tibetan, specially living in free countries , must implement the sacrifices of late HHThe 10 Penchen Rinpoche , for the preservation of Tibetan identity , language, culture and religion . We Tibetan really need to understand all the geopolitical history of Tibet before 1959 and after 1800. We really need to work with China for our own Tibetan benefit rather than relying on western countries and India, they are just using Tibetan as a tool for their own interests. Let’s focus on middle way which HH have shown us and denounce those independence.
We have very few young historians today, and you are one among them. Please just keep on researching boldly, and one day your words and works will enlighten the world on the Tibetan history.
