Yes they have predators and are called "human" predators who does not like their presence. So the police must watch them closely.

Does they eat janitor fish too? If they do, it would be great besides being cute I want them here in the Philippines and put it in ilog pasig. 😅 than seeing rats 🙂 to balance the over crowded rats and janitor fish.

The cuteness is mostly human perspective...they are the top predators in SG rivers and waterways. They help keep invasive species in check!
