One thing CCP could do to combat bots is update the 15-20 year old PVE If a new toon in a cruiser can "orbit 20" and proceed to tank 15 battleships+10 cruisers etc. while being afk for 20 minutes, something is broken. If npc's were even 10% "fitted" as player ships are, this wouldn't be possible.
there is a ping in case of banks when someone linked to it. there should be at least a tag if a site is currently contested. small FW window that you can keep on the side with the site lists and their status would be nice: site name size/tier with filters, including "show only ones you can enter status - defended(longer timer), contested(lower timer), new/uncontested i was thinking about showing the timer, but that would be too easy to abuse by ppl warping at the very end. and you would get higher rewards if you would manage to flip from contested to defended. Also defensive timer should be separate from offensive one, so you dont need to wait extra minutes, while the targets you chased off just make another site
Hi Felicity, it's good to see you online againn these days. I just resubbed myself and am busy getting my standings up again before I head to FW. I remember back in the day (2008 or 2009) when missions were visible in local, a guy in a Cyclone used to kill a number of battleships. He would fit three neuts and five HAMs and keep under the BS's guns until it capped out. It used to have a shield boosting bonus as well, which worked pretty well in some circumstances. Mostly, though, it served a good bait ship for experienced pilots.

Yeah, the battlefields are great. It would be nice if we could get some variation in the site layout. It might make it a bit more interesting if people don't quite know what they're going into. Maybe different size battlefields too, with a +10 player cap for each beacon / flag. As for your ess warp disruption field idea. It might be more new player friendly if the warp disruption only affected the enemy faction and neutrals. That way running defensive plexes would be a bit of a stepping stone toward offensive plexing as it would be the safer option.
