So happy for you! You don’t need that nonsense! I walked away from corporate America in 2000 and could not be happier! I had to deal with nonsense that would spin your head! I had my first child as was working part time and it was ok until the person over me not my boss decided I need to come back full time. My boss approached me and I had had enough. Said I would be leaving! Well the person above me was so sad which was bs. So I told her this was a career for her but not me my family come first! And my boss who I would have loved to tell him the person above me and below him had her lover pushing him out of his job! To this day I’d love to send my boss a letter and set him straight. He left a little after me. And that witch above me called me and was begging me to come back because she couldn’t find another person to put up with her nonsense and not say anything about her extra marital affair with higher up! 😂 and truth be told I made the right decision which I believe God stepped in because I worked on the 103 floor of the World Trade Center! A year later I might have not made it home to my family. I went out to lunch on my last day with 3 of my good friends from work. On Sept 12, 2001 I was the only one still living. God Rest their Souls. I am blessed! So yes you do what’s best for you and your family. I am glad your son is doing better! He matters! ❤

First off let me say praise God Trenton is better. Second Ms Kris you are better off without the drama. You are too sweet for that mess. You got this. Job’s come and go but we only get one family and they are the ones who have our backs. I’m like you my family comes first. You are so much stronger than that and we are all behind you. I believe that when you dont give that extra mile,theres plenty out there to do the job.Not my words but what I myself have heard and experienced. With hiring signs abundance now,employers can and will exspect the utmost above and beyond with possibly no extra compensation or appreciation. I am not a bum kisser and my family comes first and foremost. I’m so sorry you went through this horrible experience at work and I would report them to human resources or someone higher up in the company. Your family comes first and they are the most important thing in this world. I always said you can replace a job but not your family. We are just a number in these companies and they don’t care as long as they are making money. I have worked over 30 years and have learned this. Please take care of yourself and your family❤️

Oh Kris, that company definitely didn't deserve you! Especially, your supervisor and coworker. I worked a job once doing the work of 4 ppl. I took over for a woman who'd retired and they had seriously taken advantage of her. I remembered coworkers watching Netflix while doing easy tasks and i was so busy i hardly had time for restroom breaks. Eventually, after getting kidney stones from the stress i resigned. My favorite coworker told me my replacement stayed for 2 months and then left! Six months later they were on their 3rd hire!! So the problem wasn't me, like one of the hire ups liked to say. 😂 i left that place after 1.5 years and felt free!! Wound up becoming a Stay at Home Mom for now and feel so much more at peace! You are on to better things, friend!! You're going to get hired for the school district i am sure and they will be blessed to have you!

The head waitress at that stupid little diner tried telling me about no free refills on POP even if it was on the menu, they didn't want to push it, well you can guess what happened and I guess her lifetime career at this diner was in jeopardy when I was hired? lol Yep her name was Bubbles and when I asked her if that was her birth name or stage name well that ended my career there.. 😂 You done good! She said we’re gonna lay you off and then she sent a letter a week later saying my job was terminated and this was during the pandemic 2020 so she said one thing and did another so believe me these companies are looking out for their self and that’s why I do not go beyond what I have to because they don’t care about you.
