I was obsessed with your channel few years back when I also used to binge read. But then I stopped reading as much and also stopped watching videos on this channel. Because I didnt connect with the content as much. So happy with this video. Excited for all the content to come.

Sasha, I started watching you when I was 18, now I am 23, and I can say that I am not the person I used to be. We are allowed to change, to mature, to find inspiration in things or situations we didn't expect to find it before. We may even now like what we didn't like before. Happy you're back! i watched you growing up and i reverently revisited your channel and it’s so comforting just hearing you talk

I think I've never really expressed this but I have following your journey since your channel had around 5000 subscribers. I found you because you shared my obsession with the mortal instruments and followed you basically through high school, college, Scotland and beyond. I'm happy that you're back girl, I am looking forward to seeing where you're life journey will lead you to! I also believe that it's not only normal that we change and grow up but it's necessary and I believe that this is even more difficult being a youtuber. I am really happy that you were ready to express your feelings on our channel, sasha! can't wait for more content, whatever genre that might fit into.

When we are younger we usually take some personality trait that we randomly got and build our lives around it, as we grow old other traits starts to show and it's hard to make place for them when our lives are simply another thing. In adulthood we need to adapt

I just recently subscribed again to you, I used to watch u a lot when I was in middle school and I also used to read all the time. After I started high school I fell out of reading as well but now I’m in college and trying to get back to it and it’s just so nostalgic seeing your content again and seeing how you’ve grown

I think we are all struggling with quarantine right now so I can't even imagine how hard it must be for you not seeing your boyfriend during all of this, hoping you and Taran will get to see each other sooner rather than later ❤️ But so glad to see you back on RU-vid! Yes, Sasha! We are people with responsibilities first and bookworms second! I sometimes feel pressured to read certain books and read a certain amount, but I’m in school and deal with chronic migraines. It’s not always possible to keep up with a readathon or an editing schedule because life happens. I’m happy that you’ve been able to work through things on your own.

I'm so so happy that more booktubers are talking about this pressure they feel to read books. I feel a lot of you get to a point where you feel like you have to read books more as a chore rather than a pleasure. I'm happy you are evolving as a reader and as a person, with growth a change in our general taste or preference in many things come to a change, and that is ok. if you don't feel like reading at all for some time, or if a book doesn't interest you and you wanna put it down, that is your right to do so. Excited to see what you will be bringing to your channel in the future! :)

I never really comment on videos, but I've been subscribed to your channel since your second year of posting them. I just wanted to share some thoughts: -your positivity and honesty about life has inspired me to be more positive and authentic in my own -anytime someone shares who they are, it's brave because they're being vulnerable, and whenever you share parts of yourself/things that you love, I'm impressed at the courage it takes for you to break out of the niche comfort zone on order to be true to yourself -your hair looks amazing; some mistakes are great ideas that came a little later than the action -your books are riveting -I'm SO EXCITED FOR PROJECT RED!!!!! -I look up to you in so many ways, and I'm grateful to have more to look up to with each year as you grow into who you want to be

I think it does look more adult. Not because of the colors necessarily, but because there’s less variation. A minimalist look which I think is equated in general with maturity and an adulthood. Love it! Thought I would try this till I realized I have too many paperbacks lol

idk if youre interested, but re: donating your books- prisons are usually looking for paperback books to donate bc there's not usually a lot of money for educational materials like books! (definitely check w your local prison before donating to make sure they have the room)

I'm the same, I'm not the reader/bookish person that I used to be, I feel that you're right, adulthood makes you grow up and find new interests, but while keeping your same interests at heart, just not as much as it used to be. Like I have new interests, like sports and other things, but I am still a reader and writer. I am not the same person that I used to be, and that's okay. I loved this video, thanks for shedding some light on all this stuff. Rock on girl!

I love that you spoke about not being able to read as much and as many books in a week because of your everyday life and the fact you are now an adult. I find that I feel really intimidated sometimes by people who I follow who read so many books in a week whereas I will finish about 2 in a month. Its unnecessary pressure that I apply on myself when reading is supposed to be fun and something that is not a competition. So I'm so so happy someone who has a presence in the book community has spoken out about this issue ❤❤

I am only 12 and i subscribed, watched most of your reviews, and loved all the books you have read. When i grow up, i wanna be like you, living with basically a library becuase reading is life! I already have a shelf full of books, so i will continue collecting the books i like best ( cuz Asian parents dont like wasting money on books ), and i will pass them down when i have children.
