Alicia, I lived in Georgia, Texas, and NJ. I settled in NJ. I absolutely love NJ. As far as I am concerned, it's the best state to live. I absolutely love living in NJ. You won't regret it. There are also a lot of people moving from other states to come to NJ and that's because of the Tons of opportunities that exists here and it's a very progressive state. I absolutely love it. Everyone is saying oh you should not share your personal life. What works for you does not work for Kim. You are not Kim and Kim is not you. She is in a country where she has no family member. Stop telling people to not talk. She is smart enough to filter what she wants to share. You know how depressing it is to be going through things and it is just there eating you out. I left Jamaica in 1974 and came to NY. My cousin talked me into moving to Florida. I lasted 1 year there. I did not like living there at all. So back to NY. That was over 30 years ago. I love NY, NJ is right next door. So Good Luck! Wishing you all the best

Well…. I am going to be the voice of reason. You are 34 years old…young but not very young. Before you blink you will be 40. Your plan on life cannot be vlogging. Vlogging about wigs, decorating an apartment, and Temu hauls is not a life plan. You seem to have inner turmoil that you need to heal and work on. BUT…. You need to have a real life plan/goals. An education never leaves you. People watching are living their lives doing what they have to do for themselves…..what happens if the guidelines for RU-vid or Facebook etc changes? What happens if they are no longer monetized? What are the plans for a stable future? I’m only speaking as someone who is older and with a little more life experiences. It is nice to want new experience. NY/NJ are big cities. A little less forgiving than Florida. I hope for the best for you with a settled mind and discernment for what you need to do with your life

The beauty about NJ is not only the city life at a discount but you really get to enjoy the 4 seasons without the extremes; good beaches with not too hot summers, snowy winters but not too heavy, and great fall and spring weather. The neighborhoods are family-oriented with mostly decent people.
she's talking truth. NJ is the best state although it can be expensive. I call it " The convenience state". Everything is at your finger tips easy access to NY although train is expensive but just drive to Newark and take train over and it's not bad. It's close to Philadelphia too. Easy to get to Newark and Philadelphia airport. The only problem is winter but it's only 3 and a half months. Some of us go somewhere warm those months then come back April. Have I sold NJ?
I absolutely agree- I was a Manhattanite for over 20 years. Wishing that I had moved a long time ago- I love New Jersey. Stay close to the manhattan best of both worlds ❤
