About Kandi not being able to sing: Kandi was 16/17 when Xscape recorded the first album. The tone, depth, color and range she had at that age was exceptional. Kandi has the widest range in the group. Also, a person that can't sing cannot hit, sustain and resonate D6 and Kandi can still do it 30 years later. That's like playing a Chopin piece perfectly and then somebody saying you can't play piano.

I think it is a touching moment to see parents that worked hard delight in providing their children with things and opportunities that they didn’t have growing up. I would like to see Kut Klose open for Xscape. I feel like they got the short end of the stick with Keith Sweat. They need an Unsung. He had them locked into a 7 album deal but decided not to make albums 2-7. Out of all the contract deals I've heard from artists, theirs is the worst one. Next was 3-5-7.
