hi love, my sweet beagle has had infrequent seizures most of his life. He's going to be 14 in a couple days. He worries me so much when this happens but then he bounces back like nothing ever happened. Its so sad seeing our little fur babies go through so much but all we can do is be there for them! Medication and frequent visits to the vet of course has helped him as well. Hope you're feeling more like yourself soon

I've experienced about 4 accidents in 4 years and the last one my husband and I also got T-boned at an intersection, so i really relate to this. It's taken us over a year to get back to almost our normal selves driving again. We also experience PTSD from it as well. So sorry you got put through that, it will get better! Take care! Just recently in life I learned that animals can have seizures and it’s so scary because I had a seizure back in 2020 (that’s when I learned I have epilepsy). It saddens me that precious animals can have seizures because it really is so scary and draining and both parties feel helpless. I wish you and Sammy well and I’m so happy both of you are safe and healthy ❤

My pomeranian who is 6+ years old has had fits/ seizures since 2 years now. I totally get how hard it gets in the situation. I live in India so the medication would be different in the states, but I recently switched to Vetina KBR (previously the old vet was giving him Gardenal which helped in controlling the fits but in long term affects liver and kidney so I switched vets as well). Also, please be sure that the seizure does not last longer than 2/ 3 minutes, atleast over here that’s what my vet told me, in that case, we’ll have to give an SOS injection to control it. I hope Sammy stays well

Also wanted to mention in Sky’s case the fits are hereditary. His father gets them and even his brother. (I know it for a fact because my relatives have Sky’s family)

Sorry for being a pain but if you have Hashimotos you should probably stop dying your hair. All those chemicals are endocrine disrupters. I’m also have Hashimotos and using less products and not dying helped me so much. Whenever I used to dye my hair it used to take me two weeks of feeling I’ll afterward. It wasn’t worth it to me

So sorry to hear all the horrible things that have been happening to you. My little dog recently had a seizure too so I know how that feels, it is so scary. My dog is 9, and it happened when she was under a lot of stress so we think it could just be related to her aging. I have heard of a few smaller dogs having seizures so maybe it is more common with smaller breeds. It happened 2 months ago and my dog has been healthy since so hope the same for your fur baby. ❤

Girl I am in the same boat as you!!! I also have Hoshimotos and my husband and I got t-boned last year and I have permanent nerve damage in my neck/shoulders. I also have special needs dogs and it is so stressful. Everything is stressful lol. But you’ve got this!! You’re still here, Sami is still here, you’re safe, and doing the best you can!!
