Hi Ava! I at one point had massive confidence issues, it was getting to the point where I wanted to quit riding. Now I'm a pretty confident rider and can jump 3ft cool as a cucumber haha. My biggest tip is to just keep going, do things even when your scared. Backing out only makes things worse, I read a quote somewhere, it said something like you need 20 seconds of extreme courage everyday. Whenever you think you can't do it, remember all you need is 20 seconds of extreme courage, put your leg on, ride to that jump and you'll do great! Fake it until you make it also worked for me, act confident, act like you have no fear in what your doing even if inside you think you can't do it and the confidence WILL follow! Your an amazing rider and your confidence will come back to you I promise! :) (On a totally unrelated note where the tan breeches you wore in the clinic tailored sportsmans?)
when an accomplished trainer from elsewhere comes to a barn and gives you a lesson! you usually work on things you don’t normally do and they are very educational :)
