Fire 10k rounds through a Ruger in shit conditions, show us it’s accuracy loss, then full auto 800 rounds through it and then show us the accuracy loss, then get back to us. If your Ruger makes us past 8k rounds And hasn’t lost accuracy or reliability or has popped a gas port I’ll eat a hat of your choosing
I live in Oregon where Noveske is located. I used to work in the machine shop making some of their flash hinders. My mom was friends with the family before John Noveske died. It was a really shitty thing for our community. Anyway, it's great to see you enjoying the gear they make. Hope it treats you well. Cheers
I was driving down to Medford a few months back and my truck hit 100,000 miles right as the In n out burger sign appeared in Grants Pass. I thought to myself this is the kind of place I could live. There’s Noveske, the Rogue river, and an In n out burger! What more could a man need?
@@randylivengood3112 that's a cool story, yeah, we just got in and out burger a couple years ago. It was kinda a big deal around these parts. Come by anytime my friend
That's what they do with weed, here u get a free 8th of loud pack but u gotta buy this 40$ t-shirt lol an in this scenario I think u paid more for the manual then u did rifle, the rifle is nothing special at all comes with Magpul junk allover it, junk buffer system ull hear every spoing involved great choice lol not #builtnotbought
Nate McElroy I hate to be that guy but I have a buddy who works at the computer shop. His FN build is more accurate and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than any noveske I’ve ever shot.
I just finished my gen 3 fde infidel build. I tried as hard as I could even for a family man paying 99.9% of house hold bills to spare no expenses on this build. My goal was to literally build the J.R.R Tolkien AR 15. All the signature parts are noveske. KX5 flaming pig, 15 in keymod, upper & lower, 13.7 SS barrel, black nitrate bcg, bad ass charging handle. Ergonomics to include cmc 3.5 trigger, standard size troy folding front & rear sights, ambi badass 30 degree crank safety levers, extended magazine release button, extended bolt lock button, SRS buffer, magpul UBR gen 2 buttstock, magpul MIAD hand grip with 2 tones fde & black. It took me 2 years to slowly build it. Best thing about building is how it forces you to really shop around for all the best deals. Hell a well disciplined rifle builder could easily build the ultimate dream gun for 2/3 the cost if they were wait until black Friday. Ultimately this Noveske Gen3 infidel build cost me 2100. Not bad for a custom noveske vs out of the box 2600 plus extra.
Dude your vlogs have the “it” factor for me especially the gun ones. I can’t watch anyone else do this & be entertained from start to finish. Thanks for sharing these moments of your life, your honesty & the IDGAF attitude that really suits you well & I can tell you’ve worked hard at mastering. I’m taking pointers from you to sharpen my own inner IDGAF personality. Keep the vids coming brother you are setting the bar in more ways than one.
mephistopheles I follow a few channels I find interesting, fun & educational. Being too safe, too prepared or too informed isn’t a thing that has any type of negative outcome. Keep doing your homework your grades & ease of applications will thank you later brother.
Hello Sean ,I remember watching all of your videos from a few years back and then suddenly RU-vid ghosted your channel. Im so glad to see all of them back on . I really enjoy all the top shelf gear you buy . I remember watching your FN M249 and how to break it down , some day I will have one . I just need to get my kids through school . Anyway, keep up the good work .
Great Vid! I purchased a Noveske OMW Rifle from Ranier last summer. By far my favorite rifle. It arrived with a damaged rear buis. The folks at Ranier sent me a shipping label for the damaged one, and I had a new-in-box replacement in less than a week. Their customer service is second to none.
Between you and a friend of mine who used to be an FFL manufacturer/dealer, I'm being pushed in the direction of becoming a manufacturer/dealer myself and owning a gun store. It's been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I've only been inspired by your channel. Idk how someone can waste years of their life being jealous of success instead of chasing it!
Love your content man, just subbed. Ive got a build that im in about 2300 and have always wanted a side by side comparison with a high end out of the box rifle. Glad to see someone flesh this out.
Love my Infidel FDE. The FDe looks so nice. Mine was made 2011. Mine had the Troy Battle sights and the true Raptor/Noveske CH. No crappy Magpul safety selector. Got the black nitride bcg and put a 3.5lb flat CMC.
I have several Noveske built rifles. They are high quality. I will say, I have more of my own builds because Noveske doesn't often sell ones with all or most of the stuff I want. Closest thing I is the OMW edition. 14.5" pin/weld with the ASR suppressor mount in 300BO. That PMAG is probably Noveske marked. They used to have lolipops with dried scorpions inside instead of the gummy bears. I ditched that safety lever as well and put an ambi-KAC on there. Those magpul sites are actually pretty decent. The steel ones at least. Really close to the KAC ones. I like how it has the adjustable peep. Those ETS mags will run. Only problem I noticed is you lose some "length" for the rounds. The polymer reduces the usable length inside the mag. I shoot only 147 gr which is almost max length. Those seem to rub on most of the ETS mags, but I have no issues with various steel mags (OEM, Korean, CM, and POF). Good stuff man. Really like your vids!
I bought my first Noveske and it was the OMW 14.5. I bought it due to the ASR break being on it so I can throw my Omega can on there. And I think the foundation that that some of the profit from the rifle goes to.
I've owned many ARs, never built one but bought 6 complete builds. LWRC, colt, Daniel Defense, Sig. my noveske gen 1 Afghan (when johnnie was still around) is the best rifle I ever owned and shot by a mile. Just the smoothness can not be denied. I have shot thousands of rounds with magpul mags and never had a single failure with all types of ammo. Accuracy is lights out. Simply the best. Gen 1 didn't have all the cool stuff with it tho. No gummy bears
Just found your channel a few weeks ago and really dig your honesty and humility. You definitely trend toward more expensive guns and accessories, but hell, I would too if I could afford it. Keep up the excellent work, brother!
The little portion of how businesses treat you really hit home. I have the same issues where I live and I live by the same rule set. Stoked you have some good businesses like that where you're at. Hopefully I'll find one myself some day soon. Btw, jealous about that Noveske and that Arsenal, you've singlehandedly put me into a "super save every red cent mode" lol. Take care man and congrats the channel is getting bigger and bigger.
love the vlog. reason why I build most of my AR's is because pistol and SBR costs in Canada. You can get a 14.5 inch M4 copy for about 650.00 Canadian but pistol's and SBR rifles will run over 1 to 2 thousand if you get a good deal.
A while back was buying my first AR, and had my choices down between Daniel Defense, Noveske, and LWRC. ALL great guns IMO so you can't really go wrong, but in the end I ended up going with LWRC. If you dont have one I definitely recommend you give them a try!!
Forget what people say. I’m from the inner city in New Jersey and live in a large home in GA. More than I ever imagined but we worked to get it. My wife and I are both military. Don’t be bothered by people who have negative opinions. What do you drive? Exhaust note sounded good
I love my Noveske it has something that I need to work on for my personal ergonomics but right out the box is the best rifle I've ever had and I built plenty of AR-15s Noveske just sing at a higher build quality than you can do yourself
Great video and really awesome rifle. I was never really a big noveske fan until some of their more recent stuff. However I really dig that one . It's good to see the real person behind the camera and a little more perspective about them. I recently found your channel and really appreciate your content. It would be cool to hear how you got into the fugitive recovery business in a vlog if you haven't mentioned it before.
Came across your channel a few months back? No wait ( that’s not right) I found your channel a few months back. Love your attitude about assholes! I get the same type of attitude being around jealous broke people in my professional life. I never post anything on any social site due to not wanting to deal with people. I’m not as understanding and kind as you are. Keep up the good work brother.
I bought the same brand drum mag for my mpx. The fitment was extremely tight. I ended up taking the black coating off the area that gets shoved in the mag well. I'm curious how well it fits in your B&T. Looking more and more comfortable with the camera; great vlog man! Cheers!
Sure, I just finishing buying all parts for my 3rd gen 3 Noveske in two years and they come out with these super sexy gen4’s..... 🤷🏼♂️. The trick I’ve used is wait until Black Friday and they blow your parts fund as noveske has 25% off as well as great way to purchase a very high quality rifle yet, still save a chunk to it towards an equally nice optic. I’m envious of that gen 4, yet for me, owning a 11.5”,12,5” mid length switch block&14.5” Afghan I cant see the justification in the 13.7” infidel personally, yet, congrats on your purchase it looks like a beautiful gun and hope you enjoy it for many years to come.
''Funny Comment''. Great video. I have built a few ARs. Built the first one just to learn. Liked it so I built a few more. I used a 20'' Rainier Arms barrel on one. Love it. It is my AR with best accuracy.
Excellent review Sean! I just purchased the same Noveske Gen 4 Infidel ( after watching your video about 35 times ). Expected to arrive in a week. Thank you for the great info.
I'm not sure if you've ever addressed this in passing at one point or not, but what are your thoughts on creating a trust for registering your firearms vs outright personal registration if you have any experience with this? Im also interested as to how it relates to NFA/class 3 items if you can advise. Thanks! You do damn awesome work, sir!
I’m not tri-mix certified, you lucky devil you, but I would say that if I was in that particular situation I’d be a wee bit screwed due to the introduction info nitrogen at depth coupled with the already nitrogen-enriched gasses within my blood stream. Unless a bell or a golden decomp chamber was around I’d pop my lungs upon descent if not hitting the next thermocline. Again, I’m not trained as such and am at best a layman.
I’d also count on no surprises to raise my bp/ breathing rate at depth or I’d be sucking dry at depth anyway if I didn’t try and operate within an 80%dt
@@hvkrev2 no prints for that or id passport photos for the nfa gun trust and theres also no leo sign off now they waved that much better now if you do a trust if your dad is a trustee or someone and they wanna borrow the item the can without you giving them illegal possession of the nfa title 2 item any one of the majestic 6
Sean, I went with the LWRC Spartan Kopis in the Gun Metal color. It runs like a dream and is similar to your wife’s build. If you built hers in the same fashion, it’ll run smooth too!
Building also gives you intimate familiarity with your rifle. Some people would say you can’t put a price on that. If the price comparison breaks even for near peer quality, I will always vote build; but that’s just me.
Man, your videos got me into guns, and it began my interest as a Bail Enforcer. Ignore what the trolls and stuff say, youre going a great thing. And I really appreciate the heart you put into your videos!
I believe it depends on how much of a high quality AR15 (.223/.556) you build. When you compare it to a factory build. I’ve seen very high end builds to where the carbon barrels cost $700+ with high end billet lowers. I’ve seen people spend about $4,000-$5,500 building strictly an AR15 minus the high end glass using nothing but high end quality parts. That shoot sub MOA at beyond 100 yards all day long. Now the average person wouldn’t build a high end AR15 that cost that much. With an $1,500-$3,000 optic on top of the high end $4,000-$5,500 AR15 rifle. However, it is possible if you have unlimited funds for your project or build it over time.
Nice run through on the new buy. Unfortunately, I wasn't so impressed with all the magpul items on an expensive rifle like that. Other rifles that I would highly recommend are LWRC and even LMT. Thanks and I hope it works out with the new toy.
It's cool hearing you talk about local gun stores. Haven't been to Rainier yet, but it's near where I grew up (Pacific). After your glowing review of their store, I think I'm gonna go check it out.
Off video topic, but since you mentioned it. What AK 47 brand/vendor would you recommend to purchase without breaking the bank and why. You mentioned Arsenal and Century. I am looking at not sure what to buy as the cost ranges from 500 to 3000 bucks. Thanks
I liked your vlog. The Noveske looked VERY nice out of the box for sure but your build looked bad ass. I know you said you really like the Noveske but how did your build perform? and how heavy is your build?
Hey Sean, not sure if you knew this or not, Rainier Arms has Fortis machine that rail for them, they also have other companies do there barrels, charging handles, uppers/lower receivers, sights and so on. The other companies just engrave or laser "Rainier Arms" on them. Noveske might have done there barrels at one time. 🤔😉
Building an AR is always the best way to go if cost isn't in play, but as far as say buying your 1st AR, I would buy an already built complete AR like I did.
Buy a complete, shoot it for awhile, figure out what you like and dislike and then change parts til it suits you. You get to see it complete beforehand and when you take something apart its usually easier to put back together. ARs are almost lego guns and once you get a little confidence and hands on disassembly it becomes alot easier. But if you have the experience building one is the way to go. If you shop smart you can end up with a lighter, better performing and overall better looking rifle for quite a bit less.
I agree, buy first build later. Building one is cool and you can make a really awesome rifle. But if you dont know what you're doing/wanting you end up spending alot of money for a bin full of parts you didnt like or wont work.
Hey bud any updates on the Gen4 Infidel ? We're seriously thinking about adding this to the Noveske line. The N6 has been on point thus far. Thanks in advance!
Sean Havok Really appreciate the review and feedback. I’ll find out Monday of it availability and will hopefully be making the purchase. I’ll post some reviews on my channel as well. Absolutely looking forward to your upcoming content, keep up the good work 👍
Hmm $1500 got me a rifle build with Centurion match grade CMV CL barrel with a Sharp's S7 steel BCG. Noveske lower and AT3 upper/handguard, LaRue MBT trigger, Magpul furniture. It's a sub MOA shooter and has extremely robust well made in USA billet aluminum component's. My rig is also 1.4 pounds lighter than Noveske for similar rig. Their uppers, lowers and barrels are heavy. So no, not gonna spend $2,800 on a Noveske rifle. But I purchased their Gen III lower. John Noveske is a role model in many ways. I wanted that cross on my rifle in his honor. I spent $315 on that Noveske lower. That is insane pricing.
Hey Sean, seeing as to how you bought a couple aero lowers have you considered doing a budget build with budget everything but a quality bcg and trigger and comparing it to the bought vs build rifles?
Wow so much to digest! Well as far as optics im spoiled rotten. CampX kryptonic is one of my faves. Most of my gear is one off, hand made. I do like your choices in weaponry and furniture! Good day to you!
I keep going back to my FFL because they treat me good and they know my name when I walk in the door. I myself also have some ink (not as much as you though), and they don't treat me any differently because of it either. Great videos keep it up!
I frequent a small shop own by a great guy. As small as it is, they seem to have very nice hard to find firearms, and their service is great. I started not knowing a whole lot about firearms, and they helped in everyway possible, and still do.
HYDRA DYNAMIC - i concur. LWRCIs are combat proven and ready to rock. Noveskes on the other hand are very nice, well made but extremely overpriced and are basically just well made typical ARs without any special features that any other rifle doesnt have. People make such a big deal about how smooth they cycle and yada yada yada and how that alone justifies the price as thoughts of ultra trick wizardry whirring around under the hood fill their heads. But theres nothing special about them other than nicely designed components that are designed to fit together seamlessly. The ultra trick wizardry? its grease. just grease. Put some Tetra gun grease on your buffer, tube and spring as well as the high wear areas of the BCG and your Ruger, PSA or whatever can run that smooth too and instead of costing you $3000, the tube of Tetra runs $8 if you shop around. Btw both my FNs run silently and ultra smoothly BEFORE applying the Tetra. Atleast as smooth and quiet as a Noveske and for $1000 each. Noveskes are great rifles but no greater than any other well made high end "boutique" rifle at 2/3 the price or much much less.
Have not had A chance to shoot A Noveske. Need to find one. I have shot A lot of ARs in the last 40 years. My current AR is the best one I have shot to date. It is A KAC SR-15. It is expensive but I feel worth it.
I'm a gunsmith in Albuquerque NM and when old men with there pre 64 winchester model 70 see me, covered in tattoos, they tend to walk away. So I know the feels!
I totally understand what you mean about the tattoos. I have my hands neck and face tatted and most gun store employees treat me differently than other customers. When I ask them to see or hold something the first thing they ask me is "do you have a criminal record?" But yet the guy before me was handed 3 guns to look at without being asked anything. It sucks because I work hard for my money and pay taxes like everybody else. Just for everyones information, everybody with tattoos is not a criminal.
What Noveske does with “One More Wave” is awesome. I wanted that rifle so bad despite its $2k+ price tag. Everything else is kinda mundane. Their barrels are great. Like you said, “just a mil-spec” lower: Geissele charging handle....unbox some Knights Armament products or LMT please. Much cooler history (just an opinion).
Noveske will run brother. I own 5 noveskes. Saving up for a couple noveske pistols to add. You should try pws or radian. Both quality rifles as well. Youll love the adac lower on the radian, and with pws cant go wrong with long stroke piston
Picking up the Noveske Gen4 Infidel tomorrow!! Excited to the say the least. I'll be uploading a review with some range footage in a couple of weeks and would like to give you give shout out for this kick ass review if that's Ok ? Thanks again for great content and please do keep me posted.
Extraordinary gun and I can tell by the sound that's super good quality material and function wise. Quick question what's your opinion about school shootings/mass shootings in general?
I buy plenty of prebuilt stuff, but I always have a project in mind to build. That and some of the more "novelty" things, I can't build without jumping through a ton of hoops.
Some people three days seem to view the world as oppressed victims or oppressors, and therefore any person or company that is successful must be bad or did not earn what they have. Ignore the trolls. Great video.
You know that over the years I've learned that buying a full rifle is almost always not worth it. Usually it's the upper receivers that matter the most for the tolerances and clearances. the lower receiver is more of an assembly vs a build. Most companies put their efforts on the uppers vs the lowers. Nowadays I buy all of the lower parts and assemble it myself and the uppers I buy fully built.
I'm trying to find a .308 from Noveske. There are so many other battle rifle options like HK, KAC, FN, SIG or even NEMO. I'm trying to find the best one to spend 3k to 5k on. Any thoughts?
Damn Sean, you’re 6’7! Ha! Definitely can’t tell on camera. Better lighting is 👌🏾. Another great unboxing. Hopefully we get a vid of u & the wife shooting
charging handle is a Geissele, FYI...just found your channel though. Cool to see another local guy creating content like this. I'm as far NW as you can go in the state...in the sticks...and mud. -Isan
Just randomly came across your video. Ended up watching the whole thing. I like how honest and real you are. I had to laugh though when you said you are 6'7" and have a lot of tattoos. I laughed because I wondered if it cost your more for full body tattoos vs someone who is around 5' lol. Anyways, I'll be checking out some of your other vids. Thanks.
I’m self made too man, don’t worry. Folks always trying to make excuses for their suckness and it’s usually a combination of stupidity and laziness. I don’t have tats but I can see how people would maybe give you a hard time. Even a boring clean shaven white dude like me gets some side eye at the range sometimes because I’m not in the brotherhood of police or whatever. Haters always gonna hate, just keep doing you. I handled a Novesky recently and I could say 2 things I noticed over a budget build 1- weight savings 2- smooth cycling. For a casual guy its probably no big deal but for a high volume guy I could see that being important.
My mom grew up in Grants Pass, OR. I visited my Grandpa several times. It really pretty. I’d love the hat. I know I’m a few days late. My dog 🐕 used to make an “O” face when I scratched him right next to his tail
2800 dollars??!! Sheesh that’s a hell of a rifle. That’s a lot of money. Everything on that rifle is top of the line. It better be for that price. It’s a nice ass rifle tho. It’s a beauty hands down 👌🔥🔥🔥
My first video I’ve watched of yours. Good stuff. Rainer arms has their barrels on sale for 149 bucks and I’m considering purchasing one. Do you have any experience with Rainer arms barrels? Appreciate it.
Where can I find one of those "Paper form" Noveske's, lol??? First time commenting(I think), but I've been following your video's for over a year. I can appreciate you sharing the story about your family and how trolls fire off at the mouth commenting on how you get what you have. I can appreciate even more your attitude to keep moving and ignoring them for the most part. At times, some folks deserve to get "put in their place". It's nobody's business how you get what you have. It's pure jealousy for a man to envy what another man has. Keep doing what you do brother, I can appreciate your passion. It's takes some doing for people to put in that time and effort, sharing their personal belongings for the masses. I totally can relate the gun store shock. I'm a black man and most of the gun stores I frequent are ran by white men. Some are cordial, but there's always the ones that follow you all the way around the store with that fake customer service because they think your going steal something. They think I'm ignorant and feel that my pockets aren't deep enough to hold the premium grade "ratchets". They get taken aback when they find out you're educated and can speak the lingo and you're not as ignorant as they may perceive. Have you heard of the Noveske's "Ghetto Blaster"? I understand Noveske to be a quality company. The Ghetto Blaster is similar to the "Q" Honey Badger. They've actually collabed on several aspects of the Ghetto Blaster in regards to parts and continue to do so on other projects (Hornady's 8.6 Creedmoor). Keep doing what you, it's appreciated, and your personal opinion is valued. The advantage of building is putting exactly what you want into your build. I've seen that when I build, I end up spending premium/buy money because I know I want quality parts. That being said, I do have my premium buys that I wouldn't trying to build on my own. Great video and I look to seeing your initial thoughts on running the Noveske. Peace my bruh!!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video as you seem to point out key features that most on these channels do not. As for what others say about you, who cares (story of my life). If people would only focus on themselves first then that’ll help lead them down the road to where they want to be. Anyway, appreciate you making these videos. Good Luck to you, your family and God Bless those who stand to defend The Constitution of The United States of America 🇺🇸
Hi Sean, I've just recently subscribed to your channel and so far I'm loving it. Being from the Uk, I know I'll probably never get my hands on 99% of the weapons you review so it's awesome to see how much detail you go into on everything with your no-nonsense honest approach. Also, Can I have the hat, please So I can pretend I own the Noveske Gen4 Infidel? I have a question to ask, don't laugh at me... What is the exact purpose of forward assist and when do you need to use it? I told you not to laugh. I realize I'm going to have the shit ripped out of me for this but hey, you don't ask you don't get right.
