Abby said the wood smelled like hotdogs and it made me chuckle bc my 20 something yr old nephew was like 2 yrs old in his car seat and windows were down and he said he smelt hotdog and we were down a country rd somewhere lol. Also yes if you've had a c-section you have to rest bc they cut through many layers. I to had to go to the ER a week after my c-section and found out I needed a blood transfusion bc my hemoglobin was at a 7. I was walking in Walmart for my prescription the same day I got out of the hospital and over did it. Listen to your body. Have them check your hemoglobin before you leave hospital. Be safe.

Jagger is adorable!! I'm so excited that the house is coming along great. I love the bathroom tile/floor. I also like the birch color for cabinets. It looks nice!!

Love the fire pit idea. I’m super paranoid of fire so I would put it away from the house and out the cold plunge and sauna by the house. But again I have a healthy dose of fear of fire. LOL 😂. Love all the wood!! Love hard wood floors and wood accents and such. It’s beautiful. Congrats I’m happy for you guys! Enjoy it!!

Just a suggestion, actually a word of caution, make sure you can move your fridge in and out when your island is in place. We made that mistake and now have to take the doors off of our, EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, very high tech, fridge to move it in and out, and can’t reposition our island. Your contractor probably already knows this but I just don’t want you to have my problem.

Just an FYI, those shower drains look super nice but I had one at my old apartment and the amount of hair and gross gunk that got clogged up in it was disgusting and it was a nightmare to clean. But I agree, they do look nice.
