My son stoppend growing at age 8. Im greatful to this day to the teacher who ppointed it out. As a parent I could not see anything wrong I was not expecting anything wrong with my children. He was the second born son. Im naturalky big woman his dad was also average hight so both parents normal growth. He also came back home and started asking me questions. I took him to a paedetrician who checked him up nad recommended he sees an endocrinologist. We went there and yes his growth had stopped according to the tests that the doctor did. He was 2 yrs behind boys his age group. His problem was a thyroid that was not producing enough growth hormone. His thyroid was sluggish. He was put o. Thyroid medication. He started growing amd caught up. He is now 13yrs old and looks like his peers. To God be the glory!!!

I used to struggle a lot with accepting myself and it was made worse by the type of work I do where I have speak in front of people all the time. That was until I learned to laugh at myself and that has been a coping mechanism for me for years and it works. So I can identify with the guest's approach.

I'd like to give this man his accolades while he's still alive. Because here I see another human, whether you're tall or short. It really does not matter, only during the bring brought children don't understand but ultimately, your confidence is astounding.

When he went on about how he loved his wife and the religious perspective about their relationship, I could see the hostess holding herself from laughing. The camera even avoided taking an up close shot of her.

I won't even touch on the confidence but his level of maturity and the God him is just a blessing and he is a blessing to watch. We share a mutual friend and I think when we were at her wedding I stared a bit especially with wifey but my mind said don't you wouldn't like it so I kept it pushing.

I just want to say thank you so much for this inspiring and mind opening interview, because I can relate to it 100%. I'm Phatiswa Jonas from Cape Town, 31y/o, I have the same type of dwarfism or growth hormone deficiency. I was also bullied growing up but I learned to adjust and deal with it. Likely with me when I was still studying my doctor(Dr. Delport) did research of my growth hormone and I used to take growth hormone injection every night. Even though it was expensive, my parents medical aid couldn't cover my medication anymore due to funds. I must admit it worked cause back in High School I was under a meter tall and now I'm 1.3m tall. I'm happy with myself cause I've learnt to accept who I am. I pray that one day I can inspire others and tell my story to the world. I'm able to do whatever that a normal person can do. Thanks once again for this wonderful video bhuti Themba(I usually call him my Twin) & sisi Lebo. God bless you 🙏🏼

I'm glad I watched this,I'm healed. We all have "conditions" that we are fighting but are not of our own making. The society need to get information and see a human first before any "condition"

Wena, why are you so beautiful and eloquent? You make your interviews seem so easy and enjoyable. Thank you for this show. Every time I watch your shows, I learn something. I laughed when Themba said his coffin wouldn't be expensive. I'm 54 and I keep thinking what size coffin they'll for me. 😊😊 I lost both my legs in September 2019 through surgery. I've gone from a height of 167cm to 117cm. 😄 I'm still learning how to live with myself in my new normal.
