Happiness that you get from everyone in the office actually.. it's the joy that one finds in the scope/role/job they do & i have found it 🫶🏼

I was admin manager in a startup once and that included overseeing the office as well and because I basically oversaw the company from the internal admin to the physical office, a lot of what I say went 😅 like, I would give suggestions for improvements like office layouts, pantry items, and even cleaning rosters (because we didn't have daily cleaners) and even formed a welfare team and planned events for the office (it involved a bit of discussion and detailed proposals but they were generally approved). It really was a lot of work because 1. It's a startup 2. I was a one-man team basically doing everything except the technical stuff But the perk for me is that the leaders and employees alike trusted me enough to consider my every suggestion. Before I joined they did not budget for welfare at all and birthdays were otot if they remembered. When I joined I pushed for welfare to be part of the annual budget planning that they started bringing it up in the EOY shareholders meeting. It's really the difference you can make to the office environment.
