what are the batteries for ? and how do you adjust the magnetic resistance ? i hope it doesn't involve any electronics because those can always fail ...
Great questions! Batteries are to power the console that displays the basic read outs, time, distance, calories, etc... The magnetic resistance is adjusted with a mechanical lever attached to a stainless cable that moves a strip of magnets closer and further from the spinning flywheel.
Mine came with the cranks attached. I suspect I need a crank puller to access the rubber washer for greasing. I have a minor occasional squeak coming from that region
I just ordered the crank puller for the same reason, squeak was there from the beginning and is getting worse. Anyone one know the allen wrench size to remove the pedal arm?
