@@czerwinskijulia1 huh what limelight? How old are you man? They were a big hit back in 2000 and i was 15.Back then you dont have YT so you cant count they popularity by the "like" and views buttons.
Oh my god. I finally found this song. I listened a lot to this when I was in highschool but then after I lost my phone I struggled with getting all my playlist back. I didn't even realized until I was in college that I missed this song and I could barely remember how the lyrics went - just that addicting tune - I googled songs with 'rain' for a long time but eventually I gave up - OK WHATEVER I FOUND THIS SOULFUL PIECE AGAIN BRB JAMMING TO OUTBURSTS OF NOSTALGIA 😭🤘🏻
Agreed. Someone edited this into a spliced video about Pocahontas and Simba being friends, and somehow made something really emotional and cohesive. I suspect this song had a large part to play in that.
Look around There's no one but you and me Right here and now The way it was meant to be There's a smile on my face Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you Take me now The world's such a crazy place When the walls come down You'll know I'm here to stay There's nothing I would change Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you There's a smile on my face Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you
My wife and I (way long ago before we were married) just got in a huge fight. Driving home in a huge rainstorm, not talking to each other for hours. This song came in randomly.. we both instantaneously grabbed each other's hands and held them until the song was over. We didn't talk. We just listened. It's been our song for 8 years now. It is so powerful. Can turn a fight into tears of love, hugging and balling like a baby.
it WAS on the radio I feel like this is one of those really good songs that did get recognition, there are really good underrated bands out there like, for example, The Score that gets basically nothing.
14 March 2020, in the middle of Corona Virus pandemic, here i am alone in my apartment listening to this song on repeat. Such a beautiful song.. and to me, Jason Wade is the ultimate and best male vocalist of all time. No matter what my situation is, everytime i listen to his voice, i know everything will be alright..his voice is so calming, soothing, and beautiful, amazing. Love Jason Wade ❤❤❤
Omg, finally I can find this song that I listened in 2013. I think I can't find the song anymore, but today by Google I hum the tune then I found this. I have no words!
This is one of the most beautiful, inspiring music videos I've ever seen. Lifehouse has Christian roots but that doesn't intersect in them being one of the best bands the world has ever seen. They have a smooth, addicting vibe with every track they put out. Amazing artists, every single one of them.
The nostalgia of this song.... Sitting in a taxi at 7am on my way to school... Single and depressed about it.... I'd jam this song all morning and it would calm me down.
This is one of those songs that was super popular for a very short time and then never got played anymore on the radio. The only reason I remembered it was bc I was searching for a different Lifehouse song. Lol. When I scanned by this I remembered it immediately. It was like 10 years ago. Crazy how fast you forget about stuff. This was around the time they were stopping making big production music videos. Great song. Both of these artists have their own unique voices and both are incredibly talented
I listen to this song and to "nobody listen" every evening before going to sleep. It keeps me away from college pressure. But I'm sad everybody is like "who are they" when I speak about lifehouse. Their music is priceless to me. I just love them and I hope one day I'll be able to see them.
I guarantee you most people either forgot about this song completely or have never even heard it. It was one of those songs that kinda got lost in the shuffle back when alot of songs were coming out that sounded like this
It's so hard to commit to a favourite song, but this might be it. Flawless from beginning to end. Both Jason Wade and Natasha Beddingfield are gorgeous people with gorgeous voices. Love it. I wish there was a lot more than there is out there from Natasha.
"Between The Raindrops" (feat. Natasha Bedingfield) Look around There's no one but you and me Right here and now The way it was meant to be There's a smile on my face Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you Take me now The world's such a crazy place When the walls come down You'll know I'm here to stay There's nothing I would change Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you There's a smile on my face Knowing that together everything that's in our way We're better than alright Walking between the raindrops Riding the aftershock beside you Off into the sunset Living like there's nothing left to lose Chasing after gold mines Crossing the fine lines we knew Hold on and take a breath I'll be here every step Walking between the raindrops with you Between the raindrops with you Between the raindrops with you Between the raindrops with you
I really appreciate how great this song is, I'm from the PHILIPPINES and the lines from this song gives me this sentimental feeling relating to the recent events here in my country, especially cause we've been hit by 2 streaks of calamities specificly the : 7.4mag. EARTHQUAKE, and 3 weeks later, despite the continious AFTERSHOCKS, the SUPER TYPH0ON YOLANDA/HAIIYAN. -"Waking between the RAINDROPS, Riding the AFTERSHOCKS" -"The world such a crazy place!" And despite it all : I'm really thankful that people all over the planet specially the Americans, gave their full support in providing help for my fellow Filipinos. THANKYOU! -"Hold on and take a breath, I'll be here every step walking between the raindrops." -"There's a SMILE on my face, knowing that together everything that's in our way, were better than allright." :) Thank you to everyone who kept helping and praying for my people.
Omg.... I just remembered watching u here in manila last year... Even though Natasha wasn't there to sing this with u u still sang it wonderfully..... Oh Jason... You were so fantastic I had to buy binoculars just to see u and Bryce better.... U guys are so talented... Ur one of my favorite bands ever... Ur one of the bests...
Reminds me of when i was in rehab for NINE MONTHS ....best part is i was clean and sober and never felt so alive. This song will always make me smile 😁😔
I'll admit, there are many songs I forgot existed from my childhood. Between the Raindrops is just one of them. I searched for this song so much when adding songs to my spotify playlist. One day, I finally found it again, and I was happy beyond words. Lifehouse, Natasha, thank you. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.
At my lowest point in my life I start listening to your music. Give me hope and send love to me. I was mourning the loss of my family through separation. Thanks.
Awesome powerful emotions most of us feels in our lives in one way or another. Please listen to this. Life house the group. I dedicate the song To All My G+ kiddos and family and friends Between the rain drops.
I just discovered this song. I love this group so I can only imagine that I wasn’t able to understand the full meaning of it before. I became a widow at 48 last year and have recently found love again with a widower. This song completely sums up how we love and help each other walking the line of honoring our late spouses and still move forward in our lives.
I remember when this song first came out and falling in love with it! 4 years later, I still love it! Lifehouse has a way of getting to your heart. This has to be my close 2nd favorite song of theirs because You and Me is their best, don't deny it!
