Working in carpentry here in Germany . I saw linseed rags, that were crumbled together and laying in the warm sun starting to smoke heavyly.. - yes, they definatley can ignite by themself . Here special metal trash bins are mandatory to have for companys that use these kinds of oil.

My Dad was Rocky Marciano's Best friend and Personal Sparring partner. Dad was nicknamed " Hammering Harley Gibbs " out of Stoughton Massachusetts, he and Rocky Grew up together, many pictures of them sparring, out to parties Dinners , nice memories for me his son. Thanks for watching. That’s really cool. That’s a Family legacy that you can pass down to your children. My wife and I are all about family history. We didn’t receive family heirlooms but we do have a few stories from my side. Dating back to the Civil War. I always wish that we had family property that my kids could inherit but that wasn’t an option. I decided to make a career sacrifice to buy rural property so that I can pass it down to my children and hopefully great great grandkids. It’s not just land but stories and hopefully a legacy. With that being said, Stick with it. Don’t give up. Disabled people are still able and capable. Continue the legacy that your dad started. God bless! 🇺🇸

Good morning, Jason. You did a great job on that ax. Handle very impressit looks functional. Hickory is a beautiful piece of wood for your handle. So I love the design in the wood itself and the chief that you made for your ex is brilliant great job.

There is no need to push yourself that hard. Regular exercise is fine. If you are going to push yourself, go for reps. Pull-ups are a little too much to be considered safe in the hundreds of reps unless you are skinny and lean to the point of "Goggins." But maybe you are that skinny? Starvation is close if you are that skinny, so be careful. Energy storage in a muscular medium build is the best balance. I am that currently. Carrying a heavy pack a long distance is the most ideal in that configuration, which is the most ideal in a survival environment. Don't overdo your training. Some injuries forever hold you back.

It is important to spend some time to put the handle on the steel. If you whant , you can plunge all the head in some four season liquid cooling for one jurney. Tha will fill all the wood and that will not drying as if you use some water. That last for years .

"Should I use the step wedge?" Piece of advice? "If there is *any* doubt, there is *no* doubt." That nugget has gotten me through a great many projects, as well as keeping me from having regrets. Now that I have shared my knowledge, great job on that beauty of a blade. Hope to see more like it. 😁

Never used a draw knife, that works Awesome. I used to build/remodel homes, loved working with wood. Miss it so much I bought 2 older Wood carving knives and started wood carving. Not to that kind of quality that you are doing there on the hatchet quite yet, lol. I'll have to put the word out if anyone selling an old draw knife like that. Seems like you could do it for living working with wood, thats some really great looking craftsmanship skills. I Applaud your skills. I also just learned from you about the direction of grain on the handle. TY for the tips. Have a Blessed Day.

Jason, when you made the sheath for the hatchet this reminded me about the machete! Just a suggestion but can you make the machete sheaths with the Rivets on the Top of the Machete blade? I feel this will help preserve the blade's sharp edge.
