Yeah it’s a kind of patchy show overall but has so many brilliant moments that make me return to it. The Liam Neeson scene is still one of my favourites ever.
It's brilliant, Larry David does the same with CURB. I love this type of pseudo-documentary stuff where celebrities basically spoof themselves. It's a shame Gervais's shows don't stay on long enough, I really hope he keeps making stuff along these lines.
I quite like Hello Ladies, and Ricky’s award ceremony speeches are always a good laugh. But I agree the vast majority of their solo stuff is absolute toss
I'm saying the premise of this scene is identical to that of the 'stand up' scene in the office, only so badly done it wouldn't surprise me if Amanda Hart (writer of the worst comedy known to man) had written it.

Ooooooh! She won awards! Then I have a legal obligation to like it?? If she's won a Bafta for that SHITE then the award is utterly irrelevant. I honestly believe anyone, I literally mean ANYONE could write a comedy of that standard, she makes 'Two & a Half Men' look like Shakespeare.
