LifeSavers ~ Ladysmith Black Mambazo 

I was the assistant engineer on this session when Ladysmith was in New York to record this track. It was amazing to see firsthand how easily they all sing as one voice.

I wish there was like a 5 minute version of this song.

LifeSavers should have played this during the past winter. It is a commercial that doesn't go out of style.

I remember these commercials as a kid. I always loved lifesavers, but when these commercials came out they gave an "exotic" feel to a fruit-flavored candy that made me want to buy more. My friends and I used to buy lifesavers and start saying "liiifeee saverrrs...yuuummmm"! The power of branding and knowing how to hit your customers psychologically. If anyone from the Wrigley division of Mars Inc., happens to stumble across this comment, you should consider bringing this back to your commercials.

I was watching an old Price is Right episode from 1990's and I was skimming through the commercials and accidentally hit play right before they came back from commercial and I hear LIIIIIIIFE SAVVEEEEERS YUUUUMMMMMMM and was instantly brought back to my childhood. I have't thought about these commercials SINCE the 90's.Love the power of RU-vid.
