Double-lung transplant recipient and Lifesharing volunteer Michael Adams speaks to KUSI-TV in a live interview during their 6pm newscast on Sunday, Dec 11, 2022. In the interview with KUSI anchor Rafer Weigel, Michael explained how he was on the verge of death before his transplant surgery. "I was actually planning my funeral arrangements and had the last rites read to me." But the next day, Michael got "the call" -- a matching set of lungs had been found for him, thanks to the generosity of a deceased organ donor hero. Michael also talked about the upcoming Rose Parade, and the importance of the Donate Life Rose Parade Float. The float features the floral portraits of deceased organ and tissue donors from all over the country.
