Before 2015 while I was pursuing my studies in navi mumbai Nerul , it was hard to find North East cuisine in Mumbai ...there was a khasi restaurant in vashi where I used to go have pork ..lots of memories
I too had a good time studying at Mumbai yes I meet some people who were uneducated but majority of the people were so kind. Still I miss Navi mumbai, Panval District.
I really appreciate the north east girls those who are staying in mumbai. I am also one of the north east guy a student of studying in Mumbai. So, here I can say very proudly for all North East people still do hard work and one day this hard work, i mean this good habit can be make a good successful person. At some point, its not very safe for a girl to stay that much far, like to travel that much far to college in trains, taxi, getting holiday at 4;00 and returning home at night, and for a female, we never know what will happen on the way.

Kalina seems to be the Indra Vihar Mukherjee Nagar of Mumbai - full of northeast folks! The Bihari and Haryanvi students used to crib that northeastern people have f#%@#d up the rentals in Delhi bcs the landlords had been raising the rates. Never lived in Mumbai myself, so I’m comfortable with Delhi.
@@braveheart2516 others have this impression that northeast ppl hv money….bcs of so many reasons. Also, NE ppl rarely bargain or argue, and pay whatever is quoted. That’s how the landlords got spoiled and they raised the house rent. This made it difficult for mainland tenants who weren’t ready to pay as much. So much so that it became difficult for them to afford living in certain areas of Delhi . They blamed NE folks for spoiling the old rates.
