with an amazing score by Miles Davis, improvised live in the studio while the band watched the cut. the offical english translation of the title is Elevator the the Gallows.

Now this is how movies should be made. No CGI or special effects. What a classic score done by real musicians.

"Without your voice I would be lost in a land of silence.."

That bass line is very haunting. Miles and his quintet did a stellar job on this score!

RIP beautiful Jeanne Moreau. This is her greatest film by far.
