@Alla Lazukin, Galatians 1:8 says Joseph Smith is in hell waiting the lake of fire. Your son is correct to reject an adulterate stone seer who said the WORD of GOD was corrupted. JESUS said there is neither marriage nor giving in marriage in the resurrection; Mat. 22:30. The question you need to ask yourself is who do you believe in? JESUS or Joseph?
@@madelynereyes248 I read in the BoM Joseph Smith saying " I will be a god to you and my prophets will be my voice, if you do not like it than you must lump it". Joseph Smith said I have more to boast about then Adam, Peter, John, Paul him doing more to keep the church together then any other man that ever lived including JESUS. History of the church P. 408-409.
@@rickhuntling7338 are you part of The LDS Church? Cause we dont even talk about Joseph in weekly basis. Im very confused of why people think we talk a bout this guy like if he is our God! When we go to church we usually talk about being more like Jesus Christ and making it back to Heavenly Father
I found this documentary about 8 years ago. I have never been Mormon. But on a heartbreaking night after my non-Mormon brother was killed and the two convert-Mormons in my family were trying to hijack his funeral, I reached out to one of the people in this video and she answered and helped save my sanity.
WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY OF LIFE MULTIPLE WIVES SHOULD BE OUT LAWED. HOW CAN YOU GIVE ALL THOSE CHILDREN THE TIME AND ATTENTION THEY NEED. FOR GOD'S SAKES WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE NOT CATTLE
Joseph Smith was a con man. He wanted a bunch of women so he made up all that about becoming gods and having your own planet with lots of wives. Goofy stuff. Joseph Smith discovered some plates with all this stuff on it according to him but they were never shown to anyone else. Such a weird religion with no history but the one man who made this up who hid the plates from God. Even Jesus had twelve men who could testify about Him.
I know exactly how it feels to be deceived by the Mormon religion. I moved to Utah at the ripe age of 19 back in 1985. The valley was predominately LDS (latter Day Saints) back then which made it difficult to find work if you were not of this faith. My family back east didn’t practice any particular religion during this time, so I didn’t have a compass. It felt wrong from day one, and I left after a few short weeks, however they didn’t let me go easily. They hunted me down for years before finally giving up. Thank the good Lord for giving me enough insight and wisdom to reject this “cult like” religion that is so demeaning to women and children. I still live in the SLC area as a Christian, and once in a while a couple of missionaries come by and I welcome a debate.🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻✝️
I was born and raised in Utah and The missionaries tried to get me to get baptized for a few years after my little sisters did, mostly out of peer pressure from their friends. They kept trying for years until my mom finally had to get a little mean and tell them if i became interested I knew where they were. My little sisters got baptized because many of their friends were and some of their friends were told they couldn't play with my sisters because they weren't baptized. It is quite frustrating how the cult works here. My husband is Christian and from the east coast kinda on the bible belt. He told the missionaries they could stop by and I was kinda ticked. I told him he was on his own. He did have friendly debate with them and he was really pissing one of them off, but they have not come back since. That was like 2 years ago.
Thank you!!!!! God you actually are enlightened. Please...love your wife, kids....the truth is we are spiritual people living in a physical world,,,, I really believe we can have friendships but sexual ...I think this is sacred....and maybe for some no.... but many woman....its super hard to not be jealous ....imagine if your wife was in a room with a hot sexy male. If you can be ok with her being with a hot date... then I'll say maybe it will work for you But I really think you can't be ok with you wife having lots of lovers.
Those poor poor women, my heart broke for them throughout this documentary. Whatever your religious beliefs, your religion should bring you a sense of peace, a feeling of security and happiness and nothing fearful. These are very brave men and woman who must have an inner strength they didn’t know they had. I hope they continue to live a life of peace & happiness
You only know what you've been taught but when you wake up to question then you are ready to truly learn and grow. Leaving your old identity takes guts and glory. I applaud all who have broken the cycle. You make the world a brighter loving place.
It sounds like Smith made it up as he went along - None of it makes any sense - I think it's about male control and domination and older men wanting younger girls - It also shows how mentally lazy some people are - They listen to one man and do what he says and don't have to think for themselves - This can be said about all religions to a point
Asianna Kate Damn Muhammad lol. Self proclaimed prophet; self proclaimed idiot. I'm surprised he amassed such a large following. This is the first I'm hearing that he was a paedophile though.
My understanding is the that when the Morman’s fled the east and came west in the late 1800’s a lot of men died coming west and they had few men and a large population of females. In order to care for the widowed woman and children and try to repopulate and balance the #’s, they adopted polygamy. Then, sometime later, a bunch of horny men realized they could manipulate the religion and the women to suite their perversions.
In this movie, Sandra Tanner says it isn't true, but even if it were, that has nothing to do with the doctrines men becoming gods and being promised many wives of eternal Marriage to populate their own planets. The story of man dying on the wagon trail or whatever is just an excuse to justify horny men having sex with as many women as they can get away with, the younger the better because it was never about love or truth, but lust and control, lies, sin and satanic influence.
I watched this and cried. I cried happy tears for these men and women and their.childten. They were able to break the chains that were preventing them from knowing our Lord and savior. They found pure love and the knowledge that we will all be forgiven. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
“You never know for sure that you have a home in heaven.” I grew up in a religion that taught that and they hold that over your head always as a means to control you with fear.
IT AIN'T ABOUT RELIGION THATS MAN MADE ALL OVER THE WORLD THEY CALL THE CREATOR DIFFERENT NAMES AND HAVE DIFFERENT THEORIES I KNOW ONE THING THERE IS A CREATOR WHO I BELIEVE ONE DAY WE WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO
@@peteraschaffenburg1 No. What I'm saying is for whatever reason other Christian religions have a hatred for Mormons. There are a lot of false claims on what they supposedly believe that are completely false. One for instance is they are accused of not believing Jesus died for peoples sins. I've often been very curious why there is so much hate directed at Mormons from the other Christian religions. From my experience they are very nice people.
@@nunyabiz627 Does it comfort you that from an atheistic point of view (mine for example), you are all wrong. One of the reasons for atheism is that all these religions claim to know the truth. And you have nothing to show for your faith and claims.
Oh my goodness, the tears flowed on this one. What sweet souls, God’s children. So glad they have found the love and the happiness they deserve. ♥️ God is good.
I live in Utah and have always thought it would be cool to have a porn production company called Bring Them Young productions. That focuses on 18 year old byu students banging each other.
Bring 'em young. Or bring him young.....as much as there is wrong with alot of these beliefs I DO believe people can live polygamist lifestyles, but it's a fine line between how many are too many wives and children to take care of. Ya know? I dont practice and wont, BUT I do know how some people can do this "right"
A beautiful documentary. The testimony of these women has really blessed me. Our powerful God reaches out to us where are and loves us so much that He is thrilled to bring us into relationship with Him! Hallelujah!! What a Savior!!
I love the way these woman spoke of salvation and your walk with the Lord. "It's a gift, and if you have to pay for it, then it isn't free, and then it's not a gift!" Amen to that Sister! I could just feel the love in their testimonies. Reminded me so much of the old timers that have now gone on to be with the Lord, that I grew up with in the church. Oh how I miss them and wish that they were here today to guide our young people. So many people have lost that attitude. Lost the "Look what the Lord has done for me." Way of living. These people reminded me of them. I just hope and pray that one day God give me the words to become as wise as them!! I'm so glad that I watched this and heard the good news that the Lord has to share with somebody who might stumble onto this video! Thanks for telling your story and telling us your testimony. It blessed me to hear it!!

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) involves a pattern of self-centered, arrogant thinking and behavior, a lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and an excessive need for admiration. Others often describe people with NPD as cocky, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding.
This was the very best of all the documentaries I have watched on these polygamous cults. I recognized as a Christian that The FLDS, The Order, The AUB, and other off-shoots were not of God, but I was so confused as to the mainstream Mormon Church. I am able to understand the history of Joseph Smith and The Church of Latter Day Saints so much better because of this documentary. These precious precious people touched my heart and reminded me why I choose God. Thank you, each of you, for sharing your stories. I am sure God will continue to bless you and make his face shine upon you.
Having been a Christian all my life, I am sitting here watching your beautiful testimonies and am praising God for each of you and your deliverance into the freedom of Christ ♥️
As someone who was raised to believe in nothing and be atheist ~ I know god is with me, he took me into his world when I was young in the form of a children youth group. My parents withdrew me when they learned of the faith, but that Christmas the group delivered presents to me despite my parents wishes. For a long time I thanked those people, but who I really should have thanked, was god for never giving up on me, even when my parents tried to hide me. They eventually allowed me to go, and since have left that group, but god will always be with me. This video especially the last 20 minutes or so about how everyone found god and Jesus gave me GOOSEBUMPS. Bless you lord; thank you for saving us all.
I don't know who brought this video but it was a tremendous blessing that they let these people come on and give their testimony about how God deliver them from the Mormon Church met many people see this video and turn to Jesus Christ the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ only there is none of the name and haven't given my men whereby we must be safe God bless all of you
I used to always make jokes about polygamy and say things about who would want the torture of having more than one wife because having one is difficult enough. Until today and watching a few documentaries discussing the actual practice of polygamy I was entirely ignorant of how incredibly abusive and harmful the practice is and now feel like such an idiot for making quips about it in the past. It’s so sad to see it still exists to this day and just how harmful it is. But learning more about the practice is eye opening to consider things such as Joseph Smith essentially introduced the belief and made it such an integral aspect of the faith primarily because he was cheating on his wife, was going to have it exposed, and wrote the belief up to all in all justify the things he’d been doing and allow himself to continue what he was doing because of how it would’ve threatened his power if his activity was exposed without him writing the practice into the faith like he did. And the practice remains today I’m guessing just to allow the leader in power to have justified sex with whoever he wants to have sex with since the religion forbids sex outside of marriage. It’s such a sad and abusive practice to consider that a key religious requirement of their religion essentially boils down to the leader justifying his behavior that conflicted against the faith he was a prophet of and providing the pathway to allow him to have sex with whoever he wants. After all there’s not much else to explain why you’d have 50+ wives outside of wanting to have sex with whoever walks. So nasty how evil men abuse religion to allow for themselves to conduct evil deeds and cause immense harm to the people who are then forced to comply with it.
Praise God...glad you found your way..well spoken..brong tears to my eyes bless them oh lord for this testimony..from dark to light..i was blind but now i see.
This touched me and I pray for these women God please give them strength and keep your arm of protection around them.Heavenly father we love and thank you for your protection and guidance.
When that beautiful lady cried out in pain, my heart ached for her. I truly, truly hope she is at peace. It's heartbreaking what people do to others in the name of God. This isn't even the worst that people do to others in his name. It appears as if a lot of these people did finally reach peace.
1 Timothy chapter 3...... Husband of 1 wife. Genesis chapter 2 verse 24. That is why a man will leave his father and mother and he will stick to his wife and they both will be one flesh.
I think Mr. Smith was the most successful con man in the history of America. I love the story about his interpretation of Egyptian tomb writings - not even a good guess.
I really enjoyed watching this. Thank you to all involved in bringing this to life. I didn’t think this was a documentary that would mention Jesus Christ. All through watching I cried just praying these participants could find the truth which is Jesus and be set free. How beautiful and what a touch to my soul when they each testified of now knowing Jesus personally! Praise The Lord!
My heart goes out to all the individuals who have suffered at the hands of these cults. it brings me great joy to hear of those getting their freedom to be whomever God intended for their life's journey. It's also a true testament to the strength of the human spirit to see how far they have come in life after all the trauma & pain.
I am not a Protestant but Eastern Orthodox, which teaches we are manifestations of God. We don't become God, but are already part of God--notes in a glorious song, steps in a divine dance, beloved without any possibility of change. In every single act or thought of feeling of love and compassion God becomes manifest in this world. I respect those who disagree with me, and only condemn that which seems to me the only real and absolute sin--lack of compassion. Yes we commit acts that are wrong, and we disagree over precisely what that is. But no one knows the full truth. Live in compassion, do your best, and be kind. I am so happy to see these people happy at last.
@@ThePissedFairy Ok, sorry, I thought you wanted to know because there was a question mark. I'm Protestant (officially), but my husband is Catholic and I've always loved going to the Greek Orthodox Church wenn er were on holiday in Greece. I've also been going to Russian Orthodox Church services in the Netherlands and to one Greek one in Germany (husband is German, I am Dutch 😉). I love how all churches have the main thing the same: God the Father, Jesus who died for our sins and the Holy Spirit that lives within us. I just miss something in protestantism, I guess it's something mystical that has to do with certain rituals and icons. I have an original Greek Orthodox icon at home that was painted just for me and it has a bit only a special place in my home, but also in my heart, because of the devotion of the man who painted it and how he loved that I, as a 21 year old Protestant, wanted to have a real icon, instead of one from a gift shop, because I was so intrigued by the Orthodox Church and their ways of believing and devotion. Much love from the Netherlands!

My heart went out to them as they told their stories, and I have to believe that they not only survived this trauma, but they went out and they thrived. God bless each and every one of our sisters.
What beautiful testimonies! Wow, just seeing how God changed then and kept them all. Just wow! The faith of these people is so beautiful! God bless you all!
I spent a week on a 4-H exchange trip with a family of conservative Mormons in Wyoming. No, they were not FLDS. They were "nice people," but I was never so glad to leave! My exchange mother and sister tried non-stop to convert me. I didn't want to offend them, so I put up with most of it, only rearing back when they said something so opposite of what I believed that I had no choice! And it's true - Christ is definitely secondary in that Faith - if you can call it a faith.
When Mormons refer to Jesus Christ, they are referring to a Mormon jesus who is the brother of Satan and they are two of many sons and daughters of a Mormon polygamist exalted man god, a Mormon so-called heavenly father, who himself is one of a myriad of Mormon polygamist exalted men god father, grandfathers, great grandfathers, etc., according to Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, Brigham Young, 2nd Mormon false prophet. Jesus of the Bible and Christians is not the jesus of the Mormon Church, nor a son of a Mormon exalted man, nor the brother of Satan. As it is written, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)”
Mormons claim their church is the one true church and Christians Churches are wrong and an abomination and everyone needs to join their Church, pay them 10% of your total income so you may perform their temple rituals. which includes, giving Masonic type handshakes, saying secret passwords, and wearing underwear with sewn in Masonic symbols. Also according to Brigham Young, 2nd Mormon false prophet, one has to have a passport from Joseph Smith. All this and more is required in order to earn God’s gift of eternal life.
It is nice to know to have forgiveness of sin and God’s gift of eternal life in the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, is through faith and trust in Jesus Christ, of the Bible, only and not through any church or ritual or rules, that includes the Mormon Church, Catholic Church, Lutheran Church, Protestant Church, Methodist Church, The Pentecostal Church, Baptist Churches, Russian Orthodox Church, Islam, etc. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death; but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST our Lord” (Romans 6:23) It is written, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2: 8-9) Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3) Jesus said, “…know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32) “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1John 1: 8) “And as It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27) Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3)

"You don't need a church, you don't need a preacher. You just need Jesus." So true, as I have seen people hiding within religious groups. My Mother was the most Christian Woman I have ever met, yet she never went to church. Her kindness and empathy to others was displayed in a very humble way. I truly believe she had Christ on board.
I'm shook I was never taught anything about polygamy and was always taught to not look up any thing that would put down the church because it's all lies and that the world dislike us and is just trying to turn people against us etc. This is all new to me and very interesting.
I came from a polygamist background. My gggrandfather had 6 wives. He was constantly running from the law at that time and I had often wondered how the wives ever held up under that pressure. They pretty much were without a husband most of the time..
Praise God! I was raised mormon. That part about thinking God hated you is no joke. I went out in search of other gods hoping to find one that didn't hate me. Turns out Bible Jesus is nothing like church Jesus. Bible Jesus loves me in spite of me being a screw up. He's really nice. If anyone else out there is thinking about suicide after being told yet again they are unworthy - don't worry. You don't need to be. Jesus is worthy. That's the whole point!
