It always amazes me how Liga can run these long races, take two months off, and get right back to it; so awesome! Together you are the real embodiment of run4adventure ❤
Putting aside all the great content you create and the amazing journey of Run4Adventure...I think the ultimate winner here is the fact you are a couple who are enjoying their chosen activity/sport together. Strip everything else away and that is what you are left with and in my view, that is the true story here. Loooooong may it continue for you both on your life journey.
Last year I actually found that last climb and scramble ok... thought it was easier at night time (you cant see how bad it is) and I guess you are nearly finished. Enjoy the lead in and Chamonix buzz Liga
We are so happy that everything has gone great with the Liga’s training ! Liga you will have an amazing race, and above all a huge life experience!💪🏻💪🏻
Loyd and Liga your training plan is so so brilliant. Checking out all these segments beforehand and even doing the night run--so, so smart. I love running with the Advanced Skin 12 and you've acclimated yourself to the altitude beautifully. Well done, and I know Liga is just going to kill that race.🔥💪
Love that track you play to some of the runs. If i won the lottery I'd move to chamonix. You guys are extremely inspiring. Awsome stuff and good luck liga. 💪🏼🏃♀️➡️⛰️
I'm heading out to the alps on Wednesday for Swiss Peaks 360. Your video content is always very inspiring and positive. Thank you both very much. Good luck to Liga. She will no doubt crush it! PS UTMR is a wonderful event. I'll hopefully be running through Grachen (on the SP360) around the time you guys are arriving there. Good luck to you too Loyd!
Really impressive wishing Liga all the best of luck! Thanks again for sharing these moments with us! Btw love you videos and editing! What software are you using Loyd? Cheers
Thanks Christopher, really glad you’re enjoying the channel! We use, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Hope this helps and thanks for the luck 🙏😄
Hi I was the Hong Kong runner that met you for 3 times during ccc and took a photo with you. Did your wife film the race? I am so looking forward to it?
Team Liga- have you already pre planned where you will run vs powerhike in the race, especially the first half? How does this %/time compare to when you did your first 100km Liga? Oh and picking up running with poles Liga- did it come naturally? All the best for the race!!!!
In races like the CCC your pace is controlled be the terrain. There’s over 6100m of elevation over the 100k distance and some of the big climbs go on for miles. I’ll definitely be hiking all the hills and trying to run as much of the downhill and flatter sections as possible. My first 100k was a very different race and they are incomparable when it comes to terrain, pace and the effort needed to finish. Running with poles definitely takes a bit of practice but this training block has really helped and it feels a lot more natural now 🙂 Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, it’s really appreciated 🙏
Each gel pack they are using is 90 gram carb gels which are 3 gels in one so it’s easier to carry and take in. It’s 300-400 calories every 45-50 minutes. Also adding in the 30g chews as well
Loyd said Liga was going back to the standard gels (30g) for the race. I may have misunderstood hence asking the question. The larger ones were used in training however.
@@Run4Adventure Must be the way you edit then Loyd as it looks like you both live off the stuff, your choice 😜Anyway good luck Liga regardless of how you do it.
